Just spent the morning trying on some swimmers. Man, have I got saggy boobs!

I know boobs aren't made of muscle, but are there any upper body exercises that specifically improve tthe look of the area??
Chillax
You can do exercises for your pectoral muscles but they're not going to improve saggy boobs sorry. I've tried!
Best thing is to get some swimmers with cup support wink.gif
Danzie
It's hard hey!! I agree with the cup support and some even have some padding.

Mine have been a changing landscape in the past few years, thanks to 2 kids.

I have a formal do on the weekend and was totally stoked at my efforts in finding a bargain dress. Didn't budget for the hundred bucks worth of push up bra, chicken fillets and god damn life sucking out of me shapewear! Food and booze better be good at the event. Sorry, I've gone off topic, ranty self indulgent vent over original.gif
Flutter Bug
I hear you! Try and find a pair of swimmers with underwire and a bit of padding in the boob area - they seem to make a difference for me!
Femogan Boop!
Increase your body fat. Boobs are mostly fat so if you plump up, they look better.

I gained 10kgs after DD was born and my boobs look great!

Unfortunately the rest of me looks pretty ordinary but this way I get to eat cake wink.gif

I agree. Put weight on and they look great. I have lost weight and my boobs look awful. I am kinda glad when AF pays me a visit as they feel more firm.

I have only had the one baby, but in pregnancy and whilst breastfeeding they were a F now they are a saggy DD. My SIL recently found me in my pj's and the first words out of her mouth were "what the f, happened to your boobs!?" sad.gif
melajoe
Mine are awful, they have been saggy since I finished high school. They are actually not too bad right now as I'm breastfeeding DD2 but she is old enough to drink milk in a cup - all I need is to skip a feed or two and they are nice and round and firm again.

Disclaimer: I am not actively starving my daughter. She will happily drink cows milk or expressed milk in a cup to replace the feeds I don't give to her personally!
curvaceous
OK, thanks ladies - structured cozzies seem to be the way to go. Definitely not weight gain!

I didn't buy swimmers this morning as everything I tried on smeared my boobs across my chest.

Damiansmama, I'd be slapping said SIL across the face with one of my saggy weapons. I would NEVER say that to anyone! grrrr

Not true for everyone unfortunately. When I put weight on it NEVER goes to my boobs.

Just finished breast feeding my second baby two weeks ago and not liking my 'new' boobs much either.

Yeah same. The fat seems to just gather in that space between my boobs and armpit. Dammit!!
Anyanka
I was prepared for body changes so I thought. lol. pmsl no I wasn't where the hell did my boobs go???? And I couldn't breastfeed due to DD oral problems and my supply problems.

I plan on going for baby no.2 in the new year. Im doing IVF.

I am sincerely hoping this time I WILL be able to BF. Im going to a private hospital thsi time with an excellent reputation in BF-ing. They have 5 lactation consultants. I will also book one for home for a fortnight.

And I hate to think if they look saggy now what they will look like after BF. DH says they look great...well yes in a bra. Out of the bra it looks like a deflated woopie cushion. lol. And when having special cuddles Im never on top anymore in case he sees my two tennis balls in a stocking.

Champion83
try Les Mills BodyPump classes. There is a specific 'chest track'. It might help...

Don't stress. I'm fairly sure it is pregnancy and the engorgement you get in the first few days after birth that cause the stretching and sagging. I have fed 4ch for a total of about 8yrs and they still look about the same sagginess. I went from playboy boobs, to 5days after birth - 'Oh my God, they are sagging!!'. After the "venus" engorgement went down. Nothing I could have done to stop it sad.gif . (Venus Eng. is apparently extra blood that swells the boobs as your milk comes in, in the first few days, and not milk)

As for special cuddles, Maybe ask him his thoughts on it. Don't deny yourself. In my experience men find any swinging boobs hypnotic biggrin.gif and don't look at us in the harsh light we look at ourselves.

Hi,

After DD I was pretty fit for a while.. not so at the moment, trying to enjoy being preg but plan to hit he gym again.. Anyway... push-ups really great for the pec muscle, I did notice a difference, especially when I made it my mission to manage push ups on my toes.
lsolaBella
Mine went from well rounded 10 E to saggy 10E. I have totally lost my upper boob.

So I can only buy the 'half cup' balconette bras and not the 'full coverage bras' as I need the E cup for under the bra but don't actually fill out the cup these days.

I really miss my PG boobs when my upper boob came back... also DH dearly misses my Dolly Parton 12J being too small stand up by themselves laying down BF boobs. He talks about how I am now 'deflated' with my 10E boobs.

Thankfully I have good bras which 'lift' everything into place and give me shape.

Oh yeah I 2nd the requirement for padded and formed swimmers.

Spend some cash on a set of structured bathers.

My Mum at 70 with only one breast (thank you cancer) and carrying a lot of extra weight bought a really expensive swimsuit from a la di da underwear shop.... that thing was AMAZING!

Things were squished and held and firmed and minimised and maximised.. all at once.. it was also COMFORTABLE!

Her figure looked as good as it had when she was 35! And to the casual observer it was just a plain looking bathing suit!
sigh
get pregnant again, they firm up

yes i am aware they will probably be worse again afterwards

i try not to think about them
Ireckon
I was in bed one night with DH, after I had weaned DD (kid # 1). He casually says..."hey babe, throw one of your boobs over".....

he didn't get any that night.
ifaith17
Totally know what you mean! Mine even have stretch marks on them. blink.gif *Sigh*. My days in a bikini were short lived!

Perfect excuse to buy some expensive new swimwear and lingerie, however... Hehehehehe
NewMum99
OMG I am soooo not looking forward to this!! Still bf-ing baby #1 and packing a ridiculous pair of 14Gs. I'm usually a 12E. And they're already "flappier" than they were before baby. SIGH! I used to love my boobs!!
tinytot2012
Im gettng mine done in 3 months.
Yomumma
Go on the pill? The pill makes my boobs fill out and get a bit more upper boob lol
shelbysmum
My personal trainer assures me that they fill out again once you hit menopause ohmy.gif

I am actually proud of my saggy boobs..

(it's the pregnancy that changes the breast tissue, nothing to do with feeding)..

and I love the way that if I'm on top, dh doesn't have to stretch too far to reach them..

Just thought I'd put that image into your heads, lololol
belindarama
Mine are horrendous! I have never been big when not pg or BFing but they have shrunk to a B. cup and are so low!

Not sure if we will go for number three yet but when we are done with babies I am getting them lifted I think. No implants but I'd like them to be where they used to be.

The worst I have seen was a woman at the MCH centre. She literally stuck her hand down through the neck of her t shirt, pulled one up and over the neckline and started feeding. She didn't need to pull the top down at all. It was saggy enough to come up and over all by itself! Made me feel slightly better!

I'll trade you - your saggy boobs for my flesh apron.

Actually, that's not quite true. I used to struggle to fill an A cup but now its just ridiculous, they are completely gone, having left two small flat deflated bags with DOWNWARD POINTING nipples in their wake. How depressing.

It would be even more depressing if I didn't have my saggy tummy to take my mind off the boobs.
itsmemacdolby
Heh!

My DD said to me the other day - 'what are your boobs doing down there mum?' -

enough said! biggrin.gif

They so do!! Mine went to B-cup with DS and stayed enlarged but deflated... *sob*
I had this vague memory of reading somewhere or someone saying to me that breastfeeding does not make your boobs saggy. Did they invent the lie to encourage more women to breastfeed??
mumatelle
It's sad isn't it? I wish I had of had more appreciation for my boobs pre baby... if only i had known what was to come! tho prob best that i didn't!

okokok Mine were golf balls in socks after finishing feeding #1. It was awful, especially as I fed from one side for the last few months.. picture one kneehigh sock & one regular blush.gif
I got preg fairly quickly after that with #2, had a larger gap between #2 & 3 and was able to see an improvement about 18mths after finishing BF #2.
Now, finally 2yr after finishing BF my youngest I have seen a notable improvement. DH has noticed, not just in volume but in tissue thickness.
All up I have put on a bit of weight since my first ( which helps ), but since my last I haven't & they have still def improved. They will never sit as high as they used to but I just want some of you to have some hope.. and wait a few years, because things do improve.. even just a little ( they even match in size again and that didn't take 2yrs lol ). My breasts are the last place my fat goes to also. original.gif

oh and OP I bought a nice pair of swimmers, padded supportive cup... it's awesome!
lozoodle
My boobs have always been saggy (since before babies) and nothing will fix it, other than surgery.

I'm totally having a lift after my last baby.
