Ah so frustrated with people who either haven't been pregnant, or have either ben pregnant/partners pregnant who had easy pregnancies... I'm so sorry if my morning sickness messes with your life, and if my being pregnant doesn't quite fit in with your plans, but DEAL WITH IT.

SILVER!
Sorry for sneaking in and stealing silver....mumoftwins+1!
horsey - thanks. i ended up having something to eat and a drink of water and headed to bed for about 45 minutes. Feeling really washed out - but that's nothing different - think I'm starting to get a flu or cold or something - killer sore throat. Who knows!!

Bronze - I dont mind BD - always happy to read your posts

Good luck with the dentist
I agree Shama - people who have had easy pregnancies have no idea how hard it can be at times.
I am still feeling a bit sick but no vomiting (thank goodness) and my boobs are killing me so I know I am pregnant but when you are only 9 weeks it doesn't feel like I am pregnant so am having a scan on Friday - so I am a mixture of happy and scared - happy to see the bub but worried that there will be nothing there!!
I hope you are all doing well today ladies and that m/s and bleeding etc are all easing

Good to hear you are feeling better
FarmyGirl - I've actually read in a few places that nose bleeds are really common in pregnancy. I used to work with a woman who'd get them all the time. You'd be chatting away to her than all of a sudden she'd be gushing blood and scrambling for the tissues. That is one of the pregnancy side effects that I am very happy to have avoided so far
Got my NT results today - all low risk so we are full steam ahead.
To those still struggling with m/s there might be a light at the end of the tunnel soon - hopefully the final weeks of the first trimester will put a stop to it. Mine cleared up at 11 weeks - touch wood!

ShadyLane - You'd think with this being my 5th pregnancy that I'd have half an idea!! This on is quite different to the others. Cannot wait until my dr's appointment and then getting organised to have a scan!!

Beautiful Disaster my teeth are a bit sore too, I remember last pregnancy thinking I had a terrible tooth ache and must have a cavity- I was in 3rd trimester and nothing could be done, I didn't have anything wrong after all though. Hopefully this is the same for you.
Farmy hope you're not coming down with anything too drastic.
Shady Lane congrats on the good results.
For whoever asked about the uterus in last thread, I think you have to lay down to feel it, it would probably be right at the top of your public bone though. I guess you could google checking fundal height.
I am feeling so tired today, gave myself an easy day and it is raining so good excuse to do not much. Anyway nothing exciting or dramatic happening here. DD thinks we're having a boy and has said so all along, interesting to see if she's right. Everyone else has said boy too except MIL.

Sorry for lack of personals guys - about to duck out to dinner.
Met my OB today, he's reeeeeeeally relaxed which is probably a good thing to balance my crazy stress head out!
Had a scan - bubs is looking great, heartbeat was nice and strong at 174bpm.
Measuring 8 weeks 3 days, pushing the due date back FURTHER to 3rd June.
However I'm sticking with my dates of 8 weeks 5 days as the new date would mean that I would've got my strong BFP at only 7dpo!
Anywho, feeling great about it all and am sure bubs is gonna have a little growth spurt along the way and measure up to where I think we should be

Again, sorry for lack of personals, I hope everyone is doing well!!
(sorry about your sore tooth BD!)

Hi everyone,
So sad for the ladies that are still suffering with morning sickness.

Hopefully it will start to ease up for you soon.
antiskeptic87 - enjoy your night off cooking. It is great to not have to do that at least once a week.
Beautiful Disaster - good luck with getting an appointment that is sooner. The dental system in australia is not only expensive but hopeless (in the sense of appointment times).
Getting nervous about tomorrow. I have never had to go in for another scan 2 days after having a scan before and at this far along. I guess I have to stay positive but hard not to worry.
I hope you all enjoy the rest of your day and get some rest

misskimm - I must have missed something in my speed read this morning. Why do you have to go back for another scan? I hope they just missed something!!
chelara - Thanks. I hope it's nothing either!! Not much I can do if I am getting sick though! Hope you've enjoyed your lazy day!!
beautifuldisaster - That's crazy that the wait is that long!! I had a tooth pulled about 6 weeks before #2 was born. I couldn't stand the pain anymore!!
Shell&Josh - Hope you can get your scan soon! I'm dying to see what's going on in there - for me! I haven't had a scan either. I think that if we can get past 12 weeks with everything being okay we'll start to tell people.
antiskeptic - Glad your scan went well!! I'd be ignoring a date change too!! Haha. You can't leave me!!! lol
I cannot wait until bedtime today! I had a 45 minute nap today while #3 was sleeping. DH is working late again - that's just the season that we're in - lots of hours. I have the baby in bed, #2 will go shortly and #1 can stay up and do his homework and then head off to bed. I won't be far behind them I don't think!!
Bye!!

Hey guys hope your all well...
My MS has started to feel much better yesterday and today, have felt a little excited that maybe just maybe it is going away. Its a big improvement from what I was feeling, hope this is the start of getting better. Im 12wks 2 days so fingers crossed.
Congrats to those who had good scans and results. For those upcoming look fwd to hearing about it. Im sure all will be well.
I had an encounter with my day care today my DD just turned 2, we have had "4 events" this month, teddy bears picnic dress up, some other one cant remember, disco party theme and today halloween costume, Mind you I pay $92/day for 2 days a week. I said to her y'day don't have anything she'll just have to come in normal clothes. Today she proceeded to ask if i read the newsletters and how I can better prepare to have her dressed so she doesn't feel left out, mind you most of the younger kids were in normal clothes. I said to her honey i'm trying to cope with everyday we are doing a massive renovation in which my husband is busy with the house night/weekend, i'm feeling sick as a dog and just managing to go to work, do a corporate job flying to melb, qld regularly and doing a FT job in 4 days whilst feeling miserable and lying down on the weekend trying to do 1 or 2 loads of washing to get by, just wrote of our car - so had to look for a new car, haven't even had time to buy her summer clothes yet as I've just felt too ill, she then proceeds to ask me....well can someone else help, do you have support, can you better prepare. I couldn't help but feel annoyed and upset with this, she wasn't even understanding and looking at me like i'm not doing my job as a mum, felt so upset. She doesn't have kids and is younger i just said to her wait till you have MS and then you'll know what i'm talking about. Sorry had to vent, it really upset me, and im super emotional with my hormones at the moment.
Anyway chat to you all soon, off to do a million and one chores.

Renis I can't imagine being pregnant with other young children! Makes me wonder how people go back for more! I was unable to do anything those first 10 weeks or so. I think you're doing a great job as it is!
Congrats Shady on your good results.
Hope those with sore teeth/illness are feeling better soon.
I am feeling really good at the moment. I get tried easily but have so much more energy in general and MS is gone apart from the odd little moment which doesn't go all day like it used to! I still have food aversions. Poor hubby has to ask what we are having for dinner every day because I can't stomach certain things, and of course it changes all the time. One day I can't stand the thought of any meat, the next day I must have beef mince!
I will be 13 weeks tomorrow... it's just flying by. Have 'come out' to everyone now - friends, family, work, etc. Starting to get a little bit of a tummy now too.

Misskim - I agree with horsey, you dont have to leave. I feel like everyones become friends now. Itd be sad to split. Good luck tomorrow too, hopefully you'll get a nice surprise.
SaresLucy - my scan is on Monday too (and I still dont have much of a bump at all) I also cant wait to get that reassurance and tell everyone
Farmygirl - I feel like you've been away for ages, its so good to hear from you again!

Your nose bleed and spew sounds awful, you poor thing. I hope you're not getting sick. We've talked about names and luckily we have quite similar taste. We have a frontrunner boys name - Felix, and a frontrunner girls name- April. We quite like both of them, but we're still looking at other names, especially for middle names. Actually DH is looking right now and laughing at some of the explanations. Like: "Jo: short for names that begin with... Jo" haha!
ShadyLane - congrats on your scan!
Beautifuldisaster - wow, thats such a long wait. I hope you can find another dentist really quick. Toothpain is so hard to bear - you cant exactly give it a rub can you??
Renis - sorry about your daycare run-in. It sounds like you're doing an amazing job to keep up with all that.
DreamsLast night I had this dream thats so clear to me, I still have the feeling with me. Anyone else get that? It was one of those really frustrating situation dreams. Someone that used to annoy me in high school got into my dream and really annoyed me in my dream and as the dream went on I was feeling more and more annoyed until eventually someone flicked my hair and that was the final straw. I turned around to hit them and woke up startled as my hand hit the pillow. So glad DH was a little further away! He thought it was funny too.

beautiful disaster... wow thats a long wait,is there another dentist you can go to?
Renis.. thats rediculous that there are so many events on in a month in the first place!.
Not much from me tonight, have a killer headache,no thanks to the worst nights sleep ever last night.DP woke me up at 1am playing friggen playstation, the neighbour across the road came home blind drunk at 2am,and then proceeded to scream at her 5 and 7 yr old daughters to get out of the car and go to bed (that whole scene is a regular occurance, like at least twice a week),then at 4am... DP's exwife texts to congratulate us on our pregnancy..ffs!...lol.She lives in NZ,so there is a 5 hr time difference, but still... she knows that!!.
Sorry for the rant, been a long day, need sleep!
Hope everyone is getting over their ms,and good luck to those having scans!
goodnight xx

Wow some people are just so thoughtful arent they?! And your neighbours poor kids, what hope have theey got! Sometimes I wish mandatory reporting laws extended beyond suspicions of sexual abuse to other forms of abuse!
Renis did you tell the dc lady to stick it. I'm sure a 2 yr old isnt going to feel 'left out' if she isnt dressed up! Does she even know what 2 yr olds do
Farmygirl I hope you are feeling better and Bd hope you have some luck with getting an earlier appt.

Good morning ladies
Misskimm: Sorry, I think I missed something, why are you going back for another scan?
Fingers crossed everything is ok.
Farmygirl: Hope you got a good nights sleep
Renis: I agree with Horsey, tell that little day care snot to stick it! Glad your MS is going away!
Macka: I totally understand the food aversions on every second day LOL, some days all I want is a hamburger and then the next day the thought of it turns me green. Saw your bump picture, super cute
BD: Hopefully you can get that tooth ache sorted ASAP, nothing worse in the world than a toothache.
Blue Cup: Wow what a crazy dream, lucky DH wasnt in the way LOL, bit hard to explain a black eye at work LMAO!
Happymum2many: Hope you are feeling better today, I have been getting a few headaches too.
Horsey: Did you spew on anyone LOL??? Sorry I know its not laughing matter but gotta try to see the funny side dont we?
Shell&Josh: Will this be your 12 week scan that you are booking? Hope you are in a better mood now

I havent done the ring test yet, might try it out tonight.
AFM: Counting down the days till our scan, its next Thursday. DH and I are going to QLD this weekend to visit my parents so that should make the weekend go quickly. We are going to tell my Dad tonight, we havent told him yet as he has been hanging for us to get pregnant and we thought we better wait till 12 weeks before telling him or he would be more heartbroken than us if something bad happened!
Oh I have a question, do I need a full bladder for the 12 week scan? The receptionist who booked it in for me didnt say anything.
Hope everyone is feeling good today

Hi Dangersgirl I am not sure but with mine when I booked in they advised me to drink 2 glasses of water 1 hour prior to the scan. So not sure if where you are going is any different.

Morning Ladies,
Dangersgirl - I had to drink a lt of water 1 hr before my 12 week scan...now im sorry but whoever made up this rule obviously had a very strong bladder, but i cant handle that so I drank 1 750ml bottle and pee'd twice before I went and they never said anything! But id just call and ask.
Shell&Josh - goodluck with your scan today....I'll admit i did the bleach test yesterday - cant believe I actually did it! You wee into a glass then add 1 capful of bleach to it and apparently if it froths up like a beer its a boy and if it goes more like sprite its a girl....i got sprite....but like I said I cant believe i actually did it, im normally not an old wives tale person!
Renis - Sorry about your daycare incident...some people just have no idea!!!
BD - geez thats a long denitist wait....goodluck, hope u can see someone much sooner than that!!! I had to have emergancy root canal 2 weeks ago - must admit i hate the dentist - freaks me out!!
Happymum2many - heres to a goodnight sleep for you tonight!!!!
AFM - not much happening - off to see my ob-gyn today...should have the results from the NT test. Other than that, its been pretty boring really.

babyfranks... what sort of bleach did you use for the test?.I have heard of the draino test, but not the bleach one?
shell&josh.. thats great that you got an appt so quickly

dangersgirl... i dont need to drink water in my first trimester as i have a retroverted uterus, and can only see bub through an internal u/s,but generally i have heard that you do need to drink water.I would call up and ask just in case

thanks girls,i did have a great sleep. My head was absolutely pounding by the time i went to bed.DP came in about 30 mins after i went to bed and grabbed me some panadol.I dont normally take painkillers of any sort, and he knows that, but he also knew how much pain i was in.
I have a full day at work today,so will be keeping up the fluids and hoping it doesnt come back!
have a great day everyone

Yeah, mine specified 1 litre of water as well but I did what
babyfranks did. I've had a child. My pelvic floor is not what it used to be
No wacky dreams here. In fact, I've been getting such a solid nights sleep that I can't remember my dreams at all. Bliss. I know it won't be long until the late pregnancy restless legs and general sleeplessness will eventually kick in.
happymum - I tend to get a lot of headaches/migraines in the first tri. I have no qualms popping the class-A meds if required. Looking forward to the second tri; with DS it was absolute heaven and hoping for the same this time around.
Good luck for your scan today

BD thats bad news about the tooth.. hope you can have it fixed (or pulled?) ASAP.
Happy Mum to many- I have never heard that a retroverted uterus can only have internal US- I had a retroverted uterus last time around and had a scan at 13 weeks no problems (maybe it had righted itself already). I think my uterus must have corrected itself now as it is no longer retroverted and it wasn't even necessary for an internal (though I had one anyway) at 7 weeks- she did all the measurements no problems but because of a suspect bleed/2nd sac I had the internal.
Shel and Josh we must almost have the same dates then as I am due on the 26th, I only had a scan at 7 weeks and bub was nothing more than a jellybean and a cord. Amazing to see hands/arms already. What was your crown to rump measurement? at 7 weeks it was just 1cm.

Happymum2many - I just used White King Bleach - I very highly doubt that this is a scientific method of finding out the sex, but i caved and gave it a go!
BD - ouch, goodluck getting into the dentist quicker!!
Shell&Josh - yay on your scan and a healthy jellybean!
I seen my Ob today and NT results are all fine

With the old wives tails method of the ring and the hair, what does swining mean and what does circling mean again, i cant remember. I know for the 2 boys it did the boy on if i did it over them but if i did it not over them it can up girl. and how do u do the bleach one?? (I think there are load of ... but its still fun

Good evening ladies
Firstly just wanted to thank you all for letting me stay in this group. It has been nice getting to know you all and would have been a little sad leaving.
So I went for my scan today and I am now totally confused as to when I am due. When I was laying on the bed I am sure the lady confirmed to me that I am due June 2nd (which would make me 8 weeks 4 days) , however when I looked on the ultrasound picture it said 9 weeks 4 days so I have no idea which is correct now

.
For the ladies that have asked why I had to go back in here is the answer.......I have no idea whatsoever!!!!! When I had a scan on Monday my OB did not tell me much at all and all she said to me was I am sending you for a scan on WED and I want to see you on THUR. At the time the only thing I could think of was the fact I could not see a heartbeat (and at 8 weeks I have always seen a heart beat). But when I went in today there was my little jellybean jumping around not wanting to sit still to have it's picture taken (just like it's dad

). And had a beautiful perfect heartbeat of 161bpm.
I also did the baking soda test today (do not want to go near the bleach) and it came up as a boy (fingers crossed I would so love another blue one).
Instructions..........1 teaspoon of Baking Soda in a disposable cup, add some wee, if it does nothing then it is a girl and if it foams / fizzes it is a boy. They say if you're carrying a boy, your urine is more acidic (hence the fizzing). If you're carrying a girl, your urine has more alkaline. (Not fizzing).
horsey - the ring test - if it circles it means girl. if it swings side to side it means boy. (mine has come up as boy so once again fingers crossed lol)
babyfranks - congratulations on fantastic scan results. Getting to see that little jelly bean on screen is just so amazing.
Beautiful Disaster - fingers crossed they get your tooth problem sorted out soon for you.
I hope everyone has had a nice day

wow i cant believe in 13 weeks already. I wont get my date for next scan until November 21st when i have my next hospital appointment But the scan wont be until the 2nd week of December or there abouts as my hospital doesn't like doing them until between 20-22 weeks Tempted to go have a 4D gender scan done just so i get to see bub again and we can find out what we have having.
I just pulled this off a website regarding the ring test
If the ring goes in circles, you're expecting a baby boy. If the ring goes side to side you are expecting a girl according to this old wives tale.

This is the needle test that I have always used and always found accurate. Managed to find the instructions online for it. A bit of fun for you gorgeous ladies

How many children will I have?
Will they be boys or girls?
Let your higher self tell you....the needle knows ~ ~

}
Have you wondered how many pregnancies
and whether it will be a girl or a boy?
Let the needle tell you.
Here is a method that may surprise you.
What to do:
Thread a sewing needle and knot it {see picture above}
(so the needle hangs about 6-10 inches from the knot).
Hold your left hand out, palm down.
Hold the knot in your right hand with the forefinger and thumb only.
Holding your left hand still, swing the needle so the needle hits the inside curve of your thumb
(where the thumb meets the hand) three times.
Then turn your left hand over and move the right hand over the left, holding the needle just an inch or so above the palm of the left hand.
Hold both hands still and let the needle do the work.
The needle will begin to move:
Circles = girls
Lines = boys
It will stop moving completely in between each pregnancy.
Turn off any fans and make sure circulating air is not affecting the reading.
ENJOY the possibilities+++
Mine came up completely right for all of my children (including my MC). Let me know your results if you try it
My cup runneth ove

Morning
Just a quick one from me today (sorry for no personals).
I have my scan today at 9.30am - very nervous, but a little excited too.
My brother in law goes into hospital today to have his tumour removed. Apparently the operation could take up to 6 hours today and recovery up to 6 months. They will do a biopsy on the tumour to see if it is cancerous and needs chemo or radiotherapy. Such a scary time.
Take care and good luck to those having scans or getting results soon.

beautiful disaster... glad to hear the tooth pain has subsided a bit for you!.Hopefully the antibiotics kick in properly soon!
shell&josh... congrats on getting a proper EDD!,must have been awesome seeing bub on the screen

Chelara..i was surprised when she told me i needed an internal because of my uterus,as with my other kids,i have had a normal u/s at 7 weeks no prob.It must have corrected itself earlier those other times.Next scan at 12 weeks,it had better have corrected itself by then!.She said normally by 12 weeks it does correct itself though.
warning.... not about pregnancy... you dont have to read,i just need to vent..
with me... well had a crappy day yesterday. The neighbour who lives across the road, the one who came home at 2am drunk, screaming at the kids...She is nothing but trouble for us.
The short story is that she has had a thing for DP well before i was on the scene, and got her nose out of place majorly when DP and i got together (she has actually admitted to DP that the only reason why she bought the house was because she saw him out the front one day,and liked what she saw...stalker!!).SHe is a single mum (nothing wrong with that... i was one for 3 yrs),with 3 DD's.SHe has said to both of us separately over the past 2 yrs that we arent right for each other, and tried to talk us out of moving in together. If i was at work,or before we moved in together, she would come over at all hours with a bottle of wine to share with DP,he would just close the door in her face.SHe even came up to me one day at the local school our kids go to and told me she had been sleeping with DP the whole time we were together.Anyway... we didnt talk to her for ages as it was all lies.
Fast forward to the day of my u/s last week,i was in medicare, and DP was having a beer at the pub next door.I go in there to find him.. and the neighbour is there with friends (she is an alcoholic). One of her friends blurted out that i was pregnant, which was quite rude i thought. As i had never met this person ever in my life, and for all they knew,i could have just been carrying a little extra weight.Anyway the neighbour was all surprised and didnt say much.Until yesterday....
DP had to go over there to get the kids, who were playing on the front lawn, and she came out.Apparently...she has been "keeping an eye" on our house while DP is at work.BAsically she told him i have been cheating on him with some guy.Who infact is my sisters bf,who has been to our place with my sister and other family members for my kids birthdays. And she told him of a car that was always at the house on weekends... that would be my babysitter while DP is away,as i work every 2nd saturday!!.
To say i was furious, was an understatement. She then went on to say that DP was ruining his life by staying with me,let alone having a baby with me.So obviously she has her nose out of place big time,as she would have been hoping that we would have broken up by now,and obviously we havent.
I had a crap day at work yesterday, then to come home to all that rubbish.... i wasnt in a good way last night.Thankfully i have only a morning shift today, then we have a long weekend in WA due to CHOGM,so looking forward to spending some time with my family... and its DD1's birthday tomorrow... my big girl is turning 9!!

Sorry for the dribble girls, this woman just does my head in.She is a vulture to all the dads at the school, and obviously doesnt care who she hurts in the process, and this time, its me

anyway.. hope you all have a great day xxxx

Good morning ladies,
happymum2many - All I can say is WOW. You must be a very very strong woman. I think I would have moved house by now if it was me in that situation. Have you both considered a restraining order against her ? I know that would be difficult with her being across the road but it would prevent her from being allowed to speak to yourself and DP. People like that are so miserable that they have to try and make others miserable. It frightens me that she is in charge of children, and an alcoholic and clearly very unstable. Very sad. Good luck with that situation. Very tricky. hugs to you.
Shell&Josh - I know it is just an old wives tale but is a little bit of fun.
Keira's Mummy - good luck with your scan today.
Nothing to report here. Have a lovely day everyone.

Hi all
happymum2many: OMG what a horrid woman! You must be a really nice person because I would have slapped her many times by now! I hope she doesnt stress you out too much. Big hugs
Keira's Mummy: Good luck with everything today, let us know how it all goes xxx
BD: Fingers crossed your tooth is ok for the rest of your pregnancy. Oh and that top in your newest bump photo is super cute.
misskimm: Oh boy thats a bit confusing. On my 8 week scan picture it says 8w2d+5d LOL I think they just like to confuse us. But congrats on being able to see your little bub, so exciting isnt it? I cant wait for my 12 week scan next week.
AFM: I did the ring test last night and first it went back and forth and then started swinging in circles. DH started laughing and saying Yes its TWINS!!! I just gave him the look LOL Finally told my Dad last night and didnt believe me until I showed him my belly, then he swore, he was very excited.
Hope everyone is feeling good today

Babyfranks -

for scan results!!
QUOTE (misskimm @ 26/10/2011, 10:02 PM)

I also did the baking soda test today (do not want to go near the bleach) and it came up as a boy (fingers crossed I would so love another blue one).
Instructions..........1 teaspoon of Baking Soda in a disposable cup, add some wee, if it does nothing then it is a girl and if it foams / fizzes it is a boy. They say if you're carrying a boy, your urine is more acidic (hence the fizzing). If you're carrying a girl, your urine has more alkaline. (Not fizzing).
Dude, I am so doing this one. I'll have to buy some baking soda when I do my grocery shopping this weekend. LOL what I love about this one is that it is so "scientific"
Keirasmummy - hugs and best wishes for your scan today. Hope your BIL is doing OK. What a scary thing to be going through
AFM pretty crap day yesterday. One of the dogs had to go to the vet early yesterday for a suspected cruciate ligament rupture (again!!). Vet can't find anything major wrong with him but his back leg is totally limp and he is really lame still so we'll have to keep an eye on him. Very pleased it's not his knee ligament again though. That cost us $2600 last time
Then at 11pm last night DS woke up with a really horrible barking cough, struggling to breathe, shaking and distressed. I gave it ten minutes and then we took him to the ED to get him checked out - I was worried it might be whooping cough, which he is vaccinated for but my nieces are too and they have both had it in the last six months. He vomited about 6 litres of gunk all over himself (and me!) as we pulled into the carpark and then proceeded to perk up right before we saw the triage nurse.
Long story short it is only viral croup (thank god) and he is much better today. Still coughing but very mild so we are going to chill out and try and rest up. As much as toddlers can anyway.

Shady Lane - Wow! Hope that your DS has a good day today and that he gets some rest and feels better soon.
happymumtomany - That's crazy!!! I feel so bad for you that you have someone meddling in your affairs. It's great though that you and DP are strong and know what's going on and that she is just trying to cause problems. I'd be furious at her for even stepping up to my door with the intent of trying to interfere with my husband!!
That's it for me.... starving... about to be sick.... only cause I am hungry! I better go make some lunch!!
Hope you're all feeling well.
9w for me today. Dr's appointment is on Tuesday... FINALLY!!! I should ring and confirm it!!
Take care!

Hi everyone..hope you're all travelling well.
I've decided I'm terrible at keeping myself up to date with what's going on here, so apologies for what I've missed
13 weeks today..somewhere I honestly didn't think I'd get to, that might be partially responsible for my absence. Had scan yesterday, and I've got one very wiggly worm on board.
My MS is finally starting to settle down, thank goodness after having 6 weeks of work something had to give!
Here's hoping for the next 27 weeks to fly by!

Hi everyone
Sorry I haven't been around much lately - have been stalking a lot but when I get home from work I'm flat out preparing something to eat before going to sleep so computer time has gone out the window.
Shady lane: I hope your DS is feeling better and that it clears up quickly - it must have been scary
keirasmummy: I hope your BIL is going okay - good luck with everything, it must be really hard
To everyone else: yay for scans! I'm glad to hear that people's scans are going well.
AFM: I have my scan on Saturday when I'll be 12+5, it's the only scan/appointment that my DH will be able to make so I hope we get some good photos and are able to tell the gender. DH has been getting me to put the phone to my stomach every night so he can talk to bub and I think he's been instructing him on smiling for the photo

kelbel - Congratulations on an awesome scan! I just read your sig... you have had a really rough time.

I have just woken up from my nap. I feel terrible that I keep sneaking off for a sleep! I have #2 and 3 at home today. #3 was sleeping in his cot and #2 was watching a movie after she ate her lunch. She's heading for 5 years old so I can trust her to come get me if there's any dramas. We live in the middle of nowhere so it's not like anyone is going to come to the house either! I dislike this terrible tiredness!!

Happymum2many: What a cow! I agree with PP, I probably would’ve either slapped her with a restraining order, or failing that just physically slapped her… and I’m not a violent person
ShadyLane: I hope things improve with your little ones (both human and furry!!). Am glad your DS is much better today and continues to recover.
Onebaby: That’s so sweet re your DH talking to the bub on the phone

I hope your scan goes well on Saturday and you get good photos - I’m sure you will!!
AFM.... well still with the MS... been sick twice today already and really hoping I'm not going to be one of those women who are sick the whole way through.... its been 7 weeks now of constant nausea and regular vomiting and so say I'm over it is an understatement
I had a bit of an emotional breakdown last night; basically I have to travel an hour and half to and from work, and yesterday dramas at work meant I got away an hour later than usual. The train I normally catch runs every half hr, and while I raced to get it I ended up missing it! I was basically already feeling tired, nauseous, stressed from the work dramas, upset about already getting home an hour later, and then that was the final straw to know it was another half hour on top of that…. So I basically was standing there in the middle of an empty train platform bawling my eyes out! Lol looking back now its funny but WASN”T at the time… poor DP was so stressed out when I called him to tell him I’d be late, as I was crying and his first thought was something had happened to Lamby….

Sorry DP!!!
In good news, I have my first OB appt tomorrow, so will chat to him then about it and see what he suggests. Sooo excited about my appt as the OB has an u/s in his rooms, so could be the very first time we get to meet our little Lamby!!!

Yay!!! And then I’ve taken the rest of the day off work to go and do some shopping for my announcement party on the weekend, which I’m very much looking forward to (just hoping I’m not ducking away to the bathroom every hour lol).
Hope everyone has a great weekend!

Thanks everyone
My scan went really well this morning - bubs was wriggling around as soon as we saw him/her!! But was also in the right position to take measurements. Strong heartbeat too of 161bpm. It was all good - and I am so happy about it.
BIL is out of recovery now, but apparently just before they finished the op, he started bleeding and they couldn't stop it and then his heart stopped! They had to give him a transfusion, but he is OK now apparently - just very sore.
Sorry for the short one - but it's time to cook dinner.

Keira's mummy - so pleased to hear your scan went well, must be so reassuring to see that strong heartbeat. sounds like your BIL had quite a scary day - but glad that's he is on the mend.
AFM - have my scan tomorrow. i am really nervous, but I know I can't do anything to change the results now...

keiras mummy... good to hear your scan went well.Thats great news about your BIL,glad all went well, even though it did all sound scary!
chook788... yes im excited there are 2 DIG's after us too

thanks girls... how i havent physically slapped her is beyond me,and im not a violent person either.I just know that i have what she doesnt have, and that she is jealous. It makes her look bitter and pathetic.I feel sorry for her really, she is just an angry woman.
Though we are convinced she is on amphetamines or something.... she is stick thin, never eats, house is spotless at all times, can drink until 3am most mornings (we know as we hear her either screaming at someone or smashing bottles in the bin at this time) and then is up at 7am washing the car, doing gardening or something odd lol.We just feel sorry for the kids, though they all go to each of their dads houses often,so at least they have some stability. It shocks me how someone who can never be married, can afford to buy a house, have a fairly new 4wd and not work,i try not to judge people, but being a single mum for 3 yrs... i had none of that!!
We call our street "crazy street"... we have other shocking neighbours,i swear we live on the set of desperate housewives or something. We are going to move,we want to build, just havent found a block we want yet.. but yes,it will definitely be happening very soon!
anyway better go check on dinner,im ready for bed already, and its only 6pm!

Congrats
Keira and good luck for your scan tomorrow
Hopeful.
I forgot to add earlier that when we were at the ED with DS last night I had to jump on the scales with him to weigh him.
I have put on 8kgs already
I did the same with my first pregnancy and only put on 13kg in total so I hope this one is the same. I'd also put on 4 kg with the IVF so don't have that problem this time around at least.
8kg
Three weeks before my BFP I was celebrating the return to my skinny (pre IVF, pre baby) jeans

Good evening ladies
Just thought I would quickly pop in before I head to bed.
I saw my OB today to find out what the second scan was all about. When I went in on monday she did a scan and she could not see a heart beat (she did not mention this too me) and for how far I am you should be able to see one. So that is why she rushed through another scan for me. She is very thorough and I am so happy to have her. So my date has now been officially confirmed

JUNE 2nd it is. I am secretly hoping bubs can hang in there for an extra 5 days then we could share a birthday (would make my birthday more special that is for sure).
Sorry for no personals tonight.
Happy baking vibes to everyone
