Hi Everyone

I was wondering if anyone had any tips on catnapping. My twin boys are 5 months old now and they are usually very happy babies and easy to settle. However, they will only ever sleep for 30-40 minutes tops except after their early morning feed (5-6am) when they normally sleep until their next feed.

I feel like a bit of a whinger but sometimes it can be very difficult on those days when they aren't happy to be awake! On those days I go for lot's of walks and try to get out in the car but I was wondering if anyone had any other tips or if tresillian would be helpful aswell?

I read somewhere that babies who sleep through the night (which mine do) sometimes will only ever catnap during the day.

Thanks alot

I agree - we went to a sleep clinic at around 7 months and it was the best thing we did. Getting them into a routine and resettling them meant they went from being catnappers to great sleeps day and night.
