Hello to all the mums with multiples out there.

I just have a quick question... Hyperthetically, if you did a test early and got instant results and got early symptoms and had High HCG levels... could this mean you are having twins?

I was a saimese (sp) twin but the other one didn't fully grow and didn't survive. Don't know whether there were any other twins in the family.

I figured you guys went through it, so who best to ask.

TIA

Milly

Milly,
Hi, firstly congratulations on your pregnancy.

I cant really help you with your high HCG levels, although a few of the ladies here did have very high levels early on.

The fact that you were born a siamese twin or conjoined twin means that you must have been an identical twin. The egg slpit late in development hence being joined. The fact that the other twin didnt develop properly is just one of those things that sometimes happen.
Identical twins dont run in families only fraternal.
They are a "fluke".

But, having said that, you have just as much chance of being pregnant with twins than anyone else.

Good luck with your pregnancy, if its twins you want, I hope its twins you get.

Mel
