Okay ladies so I am officially 2 days late for AF so decided to POAS tonight.

My DS followed me into the bathroom and since I needed to pee really badly (sorry TMI) I kind of missed my opportunity.

About an hour later I thought I could probably go again so I did...this time it was just a little bit, enough to bearly wet the end of the FR stick.

anyway, within about 2 minutes I had 2 very clear lines.

So my question ladies is, could I have stuffed it and its a false positive or am I really UTD for the 4th time in 12 months?

I'm kind of scared that its a BFP but equally scared that its really a BFN

I'll test again in the morning but in the mean time the stress hormones have gone into overdrive!
Craptacular
Sounds like a positive to me! Congratulations! Can you post a pic?
Dinosaurus
Sounds good to me Michelle, hope to see you in the PAM thread soon - we're all ready to stress through the early days with you, good luck and congratulations.
paulagirl
:smile:WOW! I would say congratulations are in order... As far as I know, you can't get a false positive unless you are taking certain fertility drugs.

I'm crossing my all fingers for you and hope this little bubba sticks well and good!!!
michelle120773
Thanks Ladies

I don't think there is any doubting that there are 2 lines....just concerned that the lack of wee might have stuffed it somehow.

Thanks Jen, if this is really a BFP I will definitely be back in the group...you ladies where such a help caliming the stress levels last time.

I guess I'm just stuck bewteen really wanting this to be a BFP and really scared because if it is I know after 3 miscarriages in 2010 what can go wrong. ffear.gif

Anyway, here's the photo fpr the official consideration!

The Test 25/04

OOPS! Having trouble with the photo! Oh and its only the first one, the others are from previous unsuccessful pgs sad.gif

Looking good! I've done HPT at all times of the day with everything ranging from full rivers of wee to little squirts of wee - I think with the FR tests you only have to hold it in the stream for about 10 seconds, but I think if you've got any HCG in your urine it will come up positive.

Congratulations and I wish you all the best for this pregnancy. original.gif
Lachlans_Mummy
Looks great to me!

Hoping & praying this is a sticky one original.gif

All the best!!
CallMeAl
Congrats!
I can't help thinking (just opinion) that too little wee could hide a positive... rather than create one...
schrodinger's cat
Congrats - a quiet and safe 9 months to you
~kuddlebug~
Looks like two lovely lines to me! Congrats and hope you have an uneventful pregnancy original.gif
Ianthe
That looks like a pretty clear positive to me. I really hope and pray this will be a stress free and long pregnancy for you Michelle original.gif
michelle120773
Thanks everyone. I know I can always count on the support of EB. original.gif

For the record, here's the test I did this morning;

TEST 26/04

I guess I need to call the OB tomorrow and start the low dose of aspirin he talked about after the last mc
Dinosaurus
michelle if he only wants you taking pills (not clexane injections) they are over the counter at the chemist - I buy the cartia big pack now but in the beginning I just bought little packs as I was super nervous.

Congrat's again Michelle, here's to an uneventful 8 more months biggrin.gif
michelle120773
Thanks for the tip Jen...do you think I should pick up a pack before I see him? Maybe I should wait....aaahhhh this is all so stressful!
Freckles
Definitely looks like a BFP to me!! Sending you a bucketload of (((((STICKY VIBES))))) and hoping that this is the one for you.

BTW, if he definitely wants you to start aspirin with a BFP then you should probably get on with it, unless you can get in to see him this week. Low dose aspirin is usually 150mg, so half a normal aspirin tablet or one Cartia tablet. However you need to be sure that's what he wants before starting. If in doubt call his rooms tomorrow and ask to speak to him or get him a message, just to confirm. HTH.
michelle120773
Thanks ladies...calling OB first thing in the morning to make appointment and get advice on the aspirin thing.
michelle120773
Spoke to OB this morning and have to start 100mg of aspirin today...off to the chemist!
michelle120773
Okay so now I have the aspirin...I've taken 1 at lunchtime.

Bit nervous about the whole thing now - the chemist was very reluctant to let me have it and kept telling me I shouldn't be taking it! PREGNANT WOMAN MUST NOT TAKE ASPIRIN he kept saying.

Its only 100mg and the OB did talk about it last time and when I called this morning his receptionist called back and said he definitely wanted me to have it from today - 1 tablet daily

OMG this is all so stressful and I'm supposed to be trying to stay calm..... cry1.gif

raven74
Congratulations!

Now, the chemist does not know your history. Your OB does. Don't stress about this. You are doing as you have been told by your health care professional. If the chemist has an issue, they can take it up with your OB, not you. wink.gif
Relax. Enjoy. YOU ARE PREGNANT. eexcite.gif
Jaycy
I agree the chemist does not know your obstetric history. I lost my first DD due to a blood clot so all subsequent pregnancies were on low dose aspirn til 35 weeks. Every time I went to get asprin I got the run around. Its even more fun going in when you are heavily pregnant and need it.

Hope you have a very quiet 8 or so months. Fingers crossed for a sticky bean!! xxx
Freckles
Ditto to what the 2 PP's said. Your Ob has seen you IRL, examined you and knows your medical history. It is on his specific instructions that you take the aspirin. If your chemist has an issue you can refer them to your Ob.

HTH and good luck!

Totally, i have taken asprin in 2 pregnancies now. Obviously that Chemist is a moron rolleyes.gif
michelle120773
Thanks Ladies...you always manage to make me feel better...I even had a chuckle at the chemist being a moron...its so true!
key4
Congrats I hope everything goes well.

The chemist is probably just being over cautious and possibly should participate a little more frequently in the complusory continuing education to realise that those with elevated APTT and other clotting issues actually save a pregnancy by taking aspirin original.gif

I have been taking daily since my last loss and I will continue to do so until I have a healthy bub in my arms. My Ob has told me too and that is was she specialises in so I trust her.

Everything going as planned when does your precious bundle arrive?

mummyofour
Congratulations on your pregnancy - sending sticky vibes your way xxxxx Here's to an uneventful 9 months for you !!

Hi Ladies,

All going to plan this baby should make an appearance around 02 January 2012...mine and DH's 12th anniversary!

Funny thing is that one of the lovely ladies on EB told me she could see a little girl entering our family in early 2012 and one of the ladies I work with told me she had a dream last week that I was 3 weeks UTD (turns out I was!)

We also found out about this pg on the day my nephew was born. With my DS we also found out we were pg on the day another nephew was born.

Hopefully these all mean this bub is meant to be hands.gif

Hi Michelle,

I look forward to welcoming you in the early Jan DIG when you are ready. There are a couple of us who are pregnant after miscarriage, so hopefully we can all support each other. Sending you lots of sticky vibes!!!!!
laraq75
Congratulations. I also took aspirin for my first two pregnancies. I hate that chemists think they know everything.
