So far DF cannot agree to any of my suggestions for boy's names. We don't know what we are having YET (but we will probably find out because it is tough going trying to find boys names we both like, so if it is a girl naming her will be much easier). WDYT of our choices so far?

Boys:

Jett (I'm not sure about this one)
Damon (we both don't mind this name)
Reece (I would prefer the Rhys spelling because I dislike the connotations to Reece Plumbing)

Middle name: Possibly James (but not really that fussed, although it is my brother's and Grandfather's name.)

Girls: (Middle name will be June - after my mother who died in 1998)

Elana June
Elyssa June
Eden June (I love this name but we have a son named Ethan so I think it would clash)
Emily June
Emmaline June (I love this but DF hates it)
Olivia June (but my sister's niece through marriage named her daughter this and we already pinched her son's name - Ethan)

Our other children are: Amber Rose, Ethan William and Kaden Andrew.

We didn't want another A initial because DF's first name starts with A and our daughter too.
I don't mind if we have another E initial - but only if it is a girl.

Our surname starts with H so we don't want HH initials.

Or have you got any other suggestions?
MnM
Jett -awful
Damon - nice
Reece - only if spelt Rhys

James is a fine MN.

Girls: (Middle name will be June - after my mother who died in 1998)

Elana June - not a fan of this name
Elyssa June - dislike
Eden June - i've never liked this name.
Emily June - lovely
Emmaline June - gorgeous
Olivia June - Ok but not one i've every warmed to, altough as you already have an E name, if you didn't want to double up on initials then i'd go for this one.

Favourties are definitely Rhys James & Emily/Emmaline June.
mymockingbirdboy

Jett dislike
Damon awful
Reecethis spelling is terrible but not really fond of Rhys either

How about Eli James? Or Nathaniel James?

Elana June - only like Alana
Elyssa June - okay
Eden June - love but yes it clashes greatly
Emily June - dull
Emmaline June - like
Olivia June - no for the reasons you mentioned

How about Elora June? or Cleo June? Isadora June?

*Ker*
Jett is NMS but I LOVE Damon. Rhys I have always disliked, simply because I knew a kid with that name and he was AWFUL. Very spoilt and bratty. James goes with anything.

Elana June - NMS
Elyssa June - love it.
Eden June (I love this name but we have a son named Ethan so I think it would clash) - Eden and Ethan would clash. And sound very Bold and the Beautiful lol
Emily June - Nice, but Emily is very common. My son is in a class of 14 and has two Emily's. Between the other 2 year 1 classes, there are 3 others.
Emmaline June (I love this but DF hates it) - love it.
Olivia June (but my sister's niece through marriage named her daughter this and we already pinched her son's name - Ethan) - I love the name Olivia, but the niece is going to think you're copying her!

Do you like old fashioned or modern names?

Good luck.

Thank you.

I'm glad some others agree with me about Reece and Jett. I like Nathaniel but again DF is being difficult with that one as I had already suggested it.

I love Emmaline - I just wish I knew how to make it grow on DF.

It makes it hard That my DF cannot agree with me.

Poor little Babe might not get named until we go home from hospital - just hope we can find a nice name that he or she can take proudly into adulthood.

Boys:
Jett- really dislike
Damon- don't mind
Reece- this spelling makes me think of toilets. I really like Rhys though

Elana June- dislike and I'd avoid a second E (A or K) first name
Elyssa June- really dislike and again, I'd avoid a second E first name
Eden June- Eden is a lovely name for a boy. I really don't like it for a girl and I'd definitely avoid it with an Ethan already
Emily June- Emily is gorgeous, yet again, I wouldn't use it with an Ethan already and I probably would avoid it more because you've got an Amber as well
Emmaline June- ditto Emily
Olivia June- this is the only one of the girls name I'd use with your other childrens names but if you're worried about having both an Ethan and Olivia in your sibset too I wouldn't use it either

Seeing you have an obvious 5 letter theme with your other childrens names I think Damon goes quite well from your boys list. For a girl I would honestly find another name, probably a 5 letter one to fit the obvious theme.

I like modern names and like classic sounding names as middle names. I like strong names for boys and pretty names for girls. But I don't like really old fashioned names. I don't mind if it is a common name if I really really like it.

Thank you for the other options, I'll think about them.
Gudrun
My boy pick is Rhys Damon.

For a girl I really like Eden too but agree it is too close to Ethan.

Perhaps Emerald (2 gems!). Option of NN Emmy. Or Emma.
jotana
With your other children's names I would pick Damon and Olivia.
