Hey there,
Yes I know this has probably been asked a million times, but I can't find the links to any threads...

Just wondering what size clothes most people neesed when there twins were born...

I am due in Jan and have bought both summer and winter stuff, but now am panicking that bought to many 00000 and 0000 sizes.

Concentrated on these sizes cause heard twins average about 5 Lb and I wanted babies to have some stuff that fits when they are born. Have been given a lot of second hand bigger sizes...

Sorry to babble..Am tired...

Any help is much appreciated...

Hi Rachael - My two were in 5x0 for about 2 weeks and then in 4x0 for about 6-8 weeks (from memory, seems so long ago).

I only had about 4 5x0 each and just washed daily and bought 4x0 bonds as they seem to be smaller than regular sizing. But, had more than that when they were in 4x0 as were in them for longer.

They were born 5lb2oz and 5lb10oz.

Good luck

I didn't have many 00000 which was lucky because my girls were born 6lb10 and 6lb13. I used the bonds wondersuits as well 'cause they did fit best. the girls were in 00000 I think no more than two weeks. and then they grew out of the 0000 in a few weeks as well. I found I needed mailnly 000

hi rachael

my boys were 6'10 and 6'11 so like twinoski we didn't get much wear out of the 00000 clothes. they did probably only wear the outfits once or twice each! Don't worry if you have bought too many - you can always sell them after. I sold a lot of mine on Ebay and made most of my money back! There is nothing worse than not having enough clothes - especially when you really are not in the mood for washing!

Hi My girls were 5lb8oz and 5lb12oz. I only bought 4xO which they wore for around 6 weeks or so then 000 till around 12-14 weeks. The 4x0's were really baggy but the kids were wrapped most of the time and we were at home so didn't really worry me. Thought the 5xO wouldn't get much wear. Definately get a few outfits as you'll be suprised how much washing you go throught those first couple of months!!
Good luck
