PINKMADI
Hi,
I am going to ask a really silly question. I have been ttc for 7years now and last week my IUI was cancelled due to too many follicles (5). Anyhow unbeknowance to me I had already started to ovulate about two days before I was cancelled. Our problem is that approx 2 days before I ovulated( 4 days before we were canceled) we had sex and our condom burst and we thought not much of it at the time. My grandfather died at the same time, so we had other things on our minds.
Since then, we have had sex once,in the middle of the night, when I was half asleep (LOL), on the night of my grandad's funeral, which was two nights after I was cancelled. I only realised what we had done when I woke up properly and realised we had forgotten the condom (not used to using them). No Excuse I know!
My problem is I think I am pregnant (which is what I wanted but.....!)and if I am I am only about 5 dpo. But I have had strong symptoms for a few days. Very sore (.)(.), constant nausea and so tired. I fall asleep everytime I stop long enough.
I want to know if I did a HPT would it show up next week or should I wait another week after that. I am cd19 and I need to know soon. I cant get into my GP for a week as she is booked out and I am putting off seeing my FS until I know I really need too. Being a bit of a chicken you know!LOL I am deathly afraid of all 5 follies fertilizing. It would be just my luck! Any advice ???????

5dpo is WAYYY too early to test. Implantation doesn't usually occur till 7 - 10dpo. I'd wait till AT A MINIMUM 10dpo, if you can wait till 14dpo that'd be even better. It all depends on how you'd handle a bfn - you can get a bfn early on but because the hcg levels aren't high enough yet it could be a bfp later on.

GOOD LUCK original.gif
