I had loads of great responses relating to my two boys names picks, thank you. Miles Edward Owen was the out right winner. cool.gif

Now for the Girls. We have had, for a long time, a name picked out but I've come across another one which I really like and even DH seems to be quite fond of. We aren't sure of middle names yet so any good ideas would be appreciated. (please not Grace)

Here they are:

Ada

or

Agatha
joanne76
Ada for sure. I am not a fan of Agatha at all.
~Meand3~
I personally don't like either but if I had to choose then I would probably go for Ada.
Craptacular
I like both, but in today's day and age I'd use Ada.
imamumto3
Ada
sharkie81
Ada
~Lisianthus~
We have an Ada Maeve wub.gif
Cluckystar
I really like Agatha. Not quite as keen on Ada.

Ada's lovely... Agatha reminds me of old ladies...
futureself
Agatha Mae Louise
Jekaho
Ada
tickledpink72
I really like Agatha, and love the NN Aggie. Ada just sounds unfinished to me.
Chevrechou
Ada for sure!

Ada is my great great grandmothers name <3, I love it because of it's connection to her, a beautiful caring and strong woman.

Despite my love for the name, I agree.
fifi-trixibelle
Ada is gorgeous. Agatha is hideous.
spellfall
Definitely Ada.

Ada Catherine?
Ada Elizabeth?
Ada Genevieve?

I feel that it would go well with a longer middle name.
vanessa71
Ada Genevieve would be great.

nutsmum
We love the NN Aggie too and the old lady thing doesn't worry us. We have an Ivy already and it really suits her and everyone loves it, even those who where a bit shocked to start with. I'm a big fan of old fashioned names. original.gif

Mae is my MN so I like the idea of using it as a MN, thank you Futureself for the suggestion.
Owl_Little_Girls

If I had to choose, Ada. Agatha is awful. Sorry
au*lit
Ada, but only if it's pronounced Ah-da, not Ay-da.
Gudrun
Agatha Ida Pearl

liclattleprincessE
i'm afraid Agatha doesn't just make me think old, it makes me think unattractive sad.gif
If you want a similar sounding name then how about Tabitha? I think thats much nicer.
If i had to choose between Ada and Agatha i would most certainly choose Ada...really really don't get a good feel from Agatha
Mitchy's Mum
Not a fan of either name. But if I had to choose I'd go with Ada.
Sarie
I don't like either but Ada if I had to pick, Agatha is hideous!

Ada Caitlin Marie
~THE~MAGICIAN~
Oh neither. Honestly I would hate for either of those to be my name so wouldn't inflict that on a daughter. So many other beautiful A names around:

Aimee
Alexandra
Alessia
Alice
Amelia
Annabel

zara-b
I love Agatha, and think it goes really well with Ivy. And Agatha Mae sounds great!

I also like:

Agatha Pearl
Agatha Iris
Agatha Esme (although maybe too 'old lady' for some!)
Agatha Olive
Agatha June
Agatha Beatrice

I think Ada is a bit blah compared to Agatha.
PippityPip
Ada.
3littlechix
Not a big fan of either but would have to choose Ada.

The nn of Aggie is very cute though original.gif
Kay1
I think Agatha is awful, sorry. To me its one of those crotchety old lady names that isn't even cute. sad.gif Ada is quite nice though. What about Alba?
SlinkyMalinki
I really don't like Agatha, although I knew one which went by Aggie, which suited her quite well.

Ada is a little short for my taste, but the better of the two IMO.
MnM
Ada.
Peppy2
Ada Vaille
bubbanme
Ada tthumbs.gif
~lizzles~
Not a huge fan of either but wanting to reply saying Miles Edward is my nephews name so good choice. biggrin.gif
naturalista
Ada would be my vote - I just can't get past an old lady association with Agatha, sorry.

I like Ava and Alba as well.
BlackBee
I like Agatha, Aggie is a really cute NN.
cira
I like Agatha.
I like a couple of the combos already suggested: Agatha Mae and Agatha Pearl.
Becca3
I like Agatha better.

Agatha Louise
Agatha Kate
Agatha Phoebe
BadgerBasher
Agatha June original.gif
