Hiya all,

I'm currently 25 and a bit weeks, had an OB appt today and she tells me I'm measuring 38 weeks cool.gifo: OMG!! How much further will I stretch?

How far ahead did your fundal height measure?

DH thinks if he sticks me with a pin I might fly off like a de-flating balloon..lol

Cheers

hi melissa

at 28 weeks i was equal to 38 weeks pregnant,at 35 weeks i was equal to 45 weeks pregnant!! but stayed this way until 38 weeks.

i just filled out more in every possible place, towards the end my belly was resting on the chair when ever i sat.

but now 3 months after the birth i've lost all the weight but as i had a ceaser my belly is still a bit saggy will have to work on that.

enjoy your pregnancy!!!

Hi,

At my last appointment I was 32.5 weeks and my fundal height was 46cms. Hopefully when I go for my next appointment it will be the same cause I think that I will explode otherwise lol.

Our twins are due in December

I gave birth at 35 weeks and 5 days and the last written fundal height I have on my records was 46cms at 35 weeks. You can stretch really far when you have to!

I had my girls at 37 weeks. At 28 weeks (yes, 9 long weeks earlier!) my OB measured me at 40 weeks and after that he just wrote 40+ weeks - although he did measure but I didn't take much notice, I was more interested in the scan measurements and estimated weights. I'll try to find a picture of my night before birth belly (if I can crop it to get rid of my head!!).

hehehee- I cant remember my fundal height but i know ive got the stretch marks to prove I had twins!!LOL

you will be amazed at how far you can stretch. I was induced at 38weeks + 2days but by about 30weeks I was measuring full term. The womans body is incredible just when you think you can't get bigger....you do!!!! I was walking around at the shops at 35weeks (you know... walk 2minutes... rest 5minutes LOL) and people would stare at me and run the other way incase I dropped. LOL. I felt like an alien but I was so proud of my MASSIVE belly

Oh girls I am hoping you can share some belly pics of just before you had your babies. It would really help me believe that it is OK to have a compact little bump and it is much more comfortable that way- some days if I hear the words 'you aren't very big' I will SLAP someone!!!!

Hi Cat

Not sure if this helps you as I think I was pretty big but wanted to show you how much I grew between 28 and 38 weeks. Before this I was getting the 'you're too small' comment all of the time. Maybe you are yet to have a period of intense growth? Or maybe you just carry really well!

The size difference is more obvious in the non-cropped version of these photos, but I think you can still see what I mean?...

oh more please girls :-)

Thanks heaps for all your replies - glad to know I'm not the worlds biggest pregnant mummy..lol

My belly is so huge I lost my 2 yo under there this morning..lol..But having said that, I was no skinny minny before I conceived twins. My MIL's neighbour is 36w with twins and is tiny (bump) but is tall and a long torso..How tall are you Cat? Also I was thinking if yours are still transverse then your bump would be more wide that long and out iykwim?

Cheers
Melissa

This is me at 35 weeks. Had the babies 4 days later. I never was really huge and nobody believed I was having twins. The babies were a great size too! 6.14 and 5.8 pounds

Hey Ladies,

This is a fun topic original.gif How big can we get LOL I don't know what my fundal height was but I am small, 152cm tall and at the end of my pregnancy (39+2) I was 130cm around, like someone else said my belly rested on a seat in front of me. And people almost ran away from me shopping as well LOL original.gif It was amazing and I think most of it was gone 2 months after the birth. I still have a bit of a mummy tummy but it's getting smaller original.gif I will try to find photos of the morning I went into hospital original.gif

Enjoy it is amazing original.gif

OK here I am- 33 weeks. Sorry, no 'nude' belly shots as I don't want to scare anyone with the stretchies that have now reached the bottom of the bra AND the top of the undies!
