It's wonderful that you love her so much, though I'm sure that is also why it hurts so damn much. It's true that people really live on in our memories, so in some respects are still here and will be for your whole lifetime. I hope you have a drink for her, it's still worth celebrating her life. I find it's often good to donate to relevant foundations on such days, a very fitting present. Take care. Xx

I lost my mum in October, still in the year of firsts here too.
Am dreading Mother's Day. Have already been in tears over it. A week or so back it was my sister's birthday. The first heavenly one they have shared. I hope wherever they are rocked with laughter and love.
