Inspired by a recent post about making up a name from combining two names, I looked on a baby name website and came across these American inventions:
Datherine - combination of David and Catherine
Zanderleigh - combination of Zander and Leigh
Abbatha - combination of Abbey and Tabatha
this might have been done before, but has anyone got other examples of outrageous or successful combination names?

Elizyvett is wild! I just found Jevette - Jean + Yvette
Not sure why these names are so fascinating. I think I prefer them to the inventive spelling ones. Though either way, it would be incredibly boring to have to spell them out and explain the origin constantly.

How about Labby for a girl? That's what my parents called me and my sister (accidentally) when getting mixed up who they were talking about.

Thanks Ms Click - I'm glad you got the humour. My example was an unintended name smoosh/slip of the tongue. Not all of those gems come from hard thought and deliberation.
