Gruffalo's Child
Hi,

My sister is expecting her third child in a couple of months and is expecting a boy after having had 2 girls, named Alice and Phoebe. She is stuck for names, so would like some opinions on her shortlist, which is:

Flynn
Samuel
Thomas

I would be grateful for any opinions to relay back to her.

Thanks!
Calamity Anne

Samuel.
Matches with her daughter's names well, as does the NN Sam.
Monroe
Flynn

Sebastian

The Phoebe I know has a brother named Sam so that would be my pick. I quite like Tom too. Not so keen on Flynn.

I love both Thomas and Samuel from her list but I prefer Samuel with her daughters names. Flynn is good too but not quite as classic as Thomas, Samuel, Alice and Phoebe are.

Alice, Phoebe and Marcus
Alice, Phoebe and Oliver
Alice, Phoebe and Benjamin
Alice, Phoebe and Lucas/Luke
Alice, Phoebe and Hamish
Alice, Phoebe and Lachlan
Alice, Phoebe and Tobias
Alice, Phoebe and Elliot
Alice, Phoebe and Xavier

Thomas is too popular these days (and who wants Tom for a NN!), so one of the others would be better. wink.gif

Suggestion of other names she might like (most of these are NMS)
- Finlay (me likely!)
- Lincoln (love this name! ...it's my bro's name, he gets Linc for short)
- Ethan
- Noah
- Connor
- Owen
- Jacob
- Isaac
- Matthew
Bel Rowley
Samuel is my favourite.
Gudrun
Samuel
Harlo
Samuel.
PixieVee
I like Flynn best.
**Xena**
Samuel then Thomas.

I like Flynn but it starts similarly to Phoebe and the two names sound a bit like a tongue twister when said together.
Ianthe
Samuel is divine. I have the sweetest Samuel myself original.gif

What a gorgeous sibset! I love Alice and Phoebe!

Of the names sugested my pick would be Samuel. But I think Alice, Phoebe and Henry would be perfect.
Jen1
Alice, Phoebe and Samuel, would be my pick.
~THE~MAGICIAN~
I love Samuel and Thomas.

Flynn does nothing for me.

Considering she already has 2 classical names, I would stick with that theme which make Samuel and Thomas ideal.

Gruffalo's Child
Thanks everyone for your responses, especially for the other name suggestions which I'll pass onto her. I love Henry and Benjamin too...
vanessa71
I love Samuel.

Mitchy's Mum
I think Samuel sounds great with the girls names, but I do quite like Flynn aswell.
Monkey News
My pick would be Samuel, followed by Thomas original.gif
