Hi,

I went for ultrasound today after taking 5 days of clomid. Scan shows there are 2 follicles and many small ones as well.
Got to go for another scan on Fri to check if all the other follicles will be growing as well and also to check urine sample to check 'surge'.

I'm feeling rather confused...does having 2 'good sized' follicles mean that I will ovulate for sure, or can I still don't ovulate? unsure.gif
I thought having follicles means good, but then read in internet that not all who goes on clomid actually gets matured eggs.

This is my first cycle...things are rather blur for me now.

Will appreciate any sharing of knowlege in this area.
Thanks in advance!

no it doesnt mean you will def ovulate
basically your folies have to get to between 18-24mm when it gets to that size usually you pretty much will ovulate

get them to tell you the measurements next scan

if it looks like you may not ovulate on your own but the follies are almost the right size they can give you a shot that triggers ovulation... refered to as a trigger shot

ask every qyestion you have while your with the dr get them to explain anything and everythign you dont understand, your paying for their services, part of the job is explaining things to you
