HAYLIE ~ you were just sitting there waiting for another post to end the thread weren't you.... LOL. so happy little Hayden slept most of the night. It will make such a difference for him to be able to take on the world and Mum for that matter too! What's tghe weather like.... miserable here... where did that gorgeous weekend weather go....

Had a really rough night with Tiahna for the first half of the night. If only you didn't have to wait 6hrs between "med med". The poor thing was screaming after only two hours of having panadol. I ended up getting her out of bed for a cuddle. She was happy then and talked to our dog for ages and that kept her mind off things. eventually got her down and she slept straight through. Madelyn on the otherhand once she was down that was it. she didn't even stir.
going to give them a bath soon so hopefully no bruises on their arms. even when I took the tape off last night in the bath they screamed. It was so horrible.
hope you all got lots of sleep. This is great for me two posts in two days. thank the rain for that!!!!!

hope you all have a happy day and enjoy your little bubbas

Oh Jodi is it raining in Perth again?? We have the most beautiful spring day ever today! We have booked the pool for an hour for the kids to have a swim (no lessons today as its school holidays) But my friends and I really love it so we thought what the heck! We are all then off to the park for a picnic lunch! Yummmy. Sorry the rain is keeping you inside...I am glad Tiahna calmed down and ended up with a good nights sleep original.gif Hopefully there are no bruises there! Ohhhh can you come to Kal when we have ours done and bring Shane with you *LOL* Hopefully I am as brave as you were.

Anyone seen Drew? I am getting worried about her sad.gif

Hayfilfy ~ Haylie

twinoski
yes it is raining in Perth and is meant to rain all week and weekend. It is my sisters b'day on sunday and we wanted to go to the zoo but looks like we might have to cancel.
Drew has not been on for ages. Hope everything is going o.k. with her. Maybe she is just way too busy being a twin Mummy at the moment. Hopefully she jumps back on when she gets a spare moment. Haylie have you tried to PM her.
well my Mum goes away on Saturday for three weeks. OMG I am going to miss her sooooooooooooo much. She is going up north. Lucky thing!!!!!!!
Haylie that is a great idea to take the bubs swimming. I bet they love it. Have a great picnic lunch and enjoy the sun Tounge1.gif

Thankyou to everyone for the warm welcome original.gif

Jen - your little boys are so gorgeous original.gif Congratulations on turning 1. I agree that they grow so quick - I can't believe I have an 11yr old !

Congratulations Elke original.gif Sometimes my boys sleep 4-5hrs a night then the next are down to 2-3, much prefer the 4-5hrs tho Tounge1.gif

Ali - how exciting that your little ones are walking or trying to

Anna - Babies always do something new in unfamiliar surroundings, Isn't it great to get home after a holiday...

Scott - tell Kylie she is doing a fantastic job, are Bayden and Sienna sleeping better the past few nights ?

Rach - Sounds like you had too much fun buying for the boys original.gif

Haylie - *hugs* to Hayden, hope things are improving. If we come up from Perth will you make us Prawn salad too !!! Tounge1.gif

mill - I have been rubbing my boys belly instead of patting after I read about your ganglion

Jodi - amazing !

As for us, I decided to give up b/f the boys, so they are on formula and 2 ebm feeds a day, it just got too much and I am much happier (although I feel a little guilty about it) DH hates the formula poos tho Tounge1.gif
We have settled into a great routine of 3hrly feeds and the boys settle quite quickly after night time feeds original.gif
Noah held his bottle yesterday - it was amazing, will post a pic when I figure it out - can anyone pm the details of putting up pics please.

We had them weighed yesterday

Noah
birthweight 2.740
5.2 weeks 3.4

Isaac
birthweight 2.614

so Isaac is finally putting on weight original.gif original.gif original.gif

Hi everyone,

We move out tomorrow, so I will be without a computer for a while, so I hope everything goes well for everybody over the next month, hopefully I'll be back by the end of October.

I wanted to post the girls weights before I depart.

Chloe Birth 2975g Length 47
6 months 6370g Length 65.5

Hi all, I hope everyone is well.

Anna - Welcome back - I hope the packing is going well and look forward to catching you in a few weeks.

Haylie - How is Hayden going? I hope that he is feeling better. Hows the swimming going?

Scott - Tell Kylie not to be so hard on herself. It is tough breastfeeding two babies, I couldnt do it. I gave in after 4 days and they went onto formula. She is doing a great job.

Lisa - They girls are ID! Well now you can actually answer yes to that question that we all get asked 'are they identical?'. And, sadly yes we still get asked it continually. People just dont get it.

Wendy - Glad to see things have settled down with feeding. It really makes a huge difference when you are more rested and relaxed. I always say 'A Happy Mum is a Happy Bub'.

Mel - You have to try and post the pics of the boys again. Didnt come through and would love to see them.

Mill - How is the sleeping going?

Tina - Congratulation on Grace and Matthew and welcome. I always give the dates from their date of birth. It doesnt work out if you give weeks as some months have more than 4 weeks.

Jodi - How many injections is it for 1 year? I am not looking forward to that, I hate it! I have heard that they are not giving the 18 month old injections anymore. Not sure if true, have you heard anything of the sort?

Rach - How is the sleeping going? Still rolling? We used the snuggle rolls for our two. Also stopped using them when they could roll over. Although Tayla always managed to roll onto her back no-matter how tight we had it.

Us - Well we no-longer have babies, we now have toddlers. Tayla and Jake are now off and walking, or in Jake's case running. He doesnt seem to walk anywhere. They have also started climbing. They climb onto everything and have even worked out that if they push things (ie their FP stride to ride) over to the lounge and kitchen chairs they can use them as a step up to get up. It is getting a bit frustrating. Had to move the coffee table into the lounge room as Tayla would continually be on it and then fall off as she still doesnt understand that she has to turn around and go down backwards, she just goes head first. We have also started with the tempers and tantrums and they are fantastic. Luckily only Tayla has started, she is so stubborn (dont know where she gets that! probably her mother! lol). She has also taken to not having her bedtime bottle which is really bothering me. 4-5 nights of the week she will then wake up at around 12am and want it, not good! But, I dont know what to do with her, she just wont take it. Any suggestions? It is been fairly quiet around here, but I suppose I should get cracking and start getting prepared for the big party in two weeks. I have done their birthday shopping and nearly finished their xmas shopping so am wrapped by that. Only have to get a few small things and some stocking fillers now. Have been able to get some great stuff, including clothes at the sales. I have been on a bit of a shopping frenzy, love it!

Hope to catch you all soon and sorry if I missed anyone.

Take care

Ali

hi girls

Well the boys are still moving around at night, and since they are now fully rolling i don't know if there is anything that we can do to stop it! I will post some new pics i took of them on the w/end. They are so funny and just getting more gorgeous every day (i know i am a bit biased!!).

Not much else happening. I am trying to get up to date with my scrapbooking. Since i only have to work 2 days this week (yay!!!) and BJ is away with work i can catch up when the boys are sleeping cause i will only have myself to worry about!! I am starting to get set for christmas and decorating heaps of formula tins for my chrismtas pressie holders, and they look fabulous. I will get on later and show you all how good they look. I am doing one up for each of the boys to put in their room as keepsake tins to put their hospital bracelet, umbilical cord tie thingie etc in, so that we will always have them there.

Anyhow am at work so must go.

Haylie - i am keen on the secret santa..

Hi everyone,
Welcome Tina.

Did my photos not work properly ?? I can see them when I go back and look. I will have to try again.

Im having a 'FUN' day today.
We put the boys to bed last night about 9.30 after their dream feed. Hubby went to bed but i stayed up to watch 24. I went to check the boys before I went to bed and Khain had vomited all over himself and he was asleep in a puddle of vomit (Sorry TMI). He didnt even wake up when he was sick, I started cleaning him up and then I noticed the wall and brand new carpet were also covered in baby vomit. Finally cleaned everything up, changed sheets and managed to not wake up Ryan. Im about to hop into bed and there is a spider on the tiles in the hallway, I hit it with a shoe and guess what ?? It was full of babies.
Soooo anyway fast forward to this morning, boys wake up at 6.30 and I give them both a bottle. Khain vomits his back up again (My 6 year old used the very technical term of 'blow hole' which is what projectile vomit looks like I guess).
I give them both breakfast (Baby cereal and mashed bananna) and up it comes again. So Khain is now being changed into his 3rd set of clothes, I have to wash the covers of the rockers as well and about 3 towels from the mop up job. So Im thinking poor little Khain, maybe a little bit of water. He hasnt even finished drinking before he brings it back up again.

I have put both the boys into bed now but Im not too sure what to do about Khain. Poor little guy must be starving. Not sure if we should go to the doctors, cause I dont think there is really much they can do is there?? BTW he doesnt have a temperature.

back again......
today I have the house to me and my girls!!!!!!! and that's it!!!!! sometimes I really get over entertaining all the time! My girls have a better social life than me. Was talking last night and we have not been to the movies nor out to dinner for over two and a half years! where the time has gone I don't know. LOL. bEST WE BE SORTING THAT SITUATION OUT!!!! LOL.

MEL ~ if Khain can't keep water down then I would take him to the doctor. The docs usually say as long as they keep water down then they generally will be fine but if he throws that up too then he will dehydrate himself. He hasn't got a temp so that is one good thing. If I was you try him with some water when he wakes up. Is he grizzly? I know there is alot of gastro going around at the moment..... when doesn't gastro go around!!!!!!!

RACHIE ~ I have been collecting all my formula cans. what a great idea you crafty thing. mt dp wanted to make a raft out of ours. you klnow like the brownes milk regater. lol. we have soooooo many tins. I have wanted to do a scrapbook for the girls. I have bought the book and lots of bits and pieces but just have not started. I really should get my butt in to gear because I am already a whole year behind. whoops! would love to see some pics of yours. where do you get all your ideas? by the sounds of it your so crafty it probably comes naturally.

HAYLIE ~ OMG! nearlly crawling and saying "dada". gosh they are growing way too quick. solids is just such a fun time. just to see their little faces. I found that I used to pull the strangest faces when I was feeding them. IYKWIM. it was as if I was tasting it too! lol. original.gif Hope Hayden gets better soon. It really doesn't help with this continual change in weather all the time does it!!!!! Summer is just around the corner. Yeh! keep us posted on his hearing check ups.

ANNA ~ hope the move is going smoothly don't you just wish you could do the bewitched nose wiggle and everything be sorted wink.gif

ALI ~ OMG you are soooo organised. I have a couple of chrissie presents but not many. far from organised I must say. Hmmm. Don't really know about the bottle feed at 12. What time do you give them dinner and bottle? so far I have been lucky with my girls. They are not really climbers.... YET!!!! they love climbing on each other but that's about it. Otherwise they just love to run laps of the house continually.

our girls weights.

MADELYN birth 3.110kg length 48cm
MADELYN 12months 10.9kg

TIAHNA birth 3kg length 47cm
12 months 10.9kg

oh my goodness. Haylie how do I make my pictures smaller?
NorthernLife
Jodi - do you upload your pics from photobucket? if you do, then you can resize them in there. i usually resize mine to 50% or so. You should check out the craft thread - in the show your scrapbooking part they have awesome pages and that is where i get heaps of ideas. THey are fabulous, and they have formula tins in there that are done and they look great too.

Anyhow am at work and want to get outta here in the next half an hour.

Hi everyone!

Sorry I haven't done personals in a while - Isabel & Jess have decided that they will only have 1/2 hour naps and I am getting NOTHING done!

Jodi - I love the pics of Madelyn & Tiahna, gorgeous little cherubs.

Mel - maybe check that Khain wasn't bitten by that icky preggers spider? I'm with Jodi, check he can keep water down.

Rach - I don't know how you find the time! I started scrapbooking a couple of months ago, I never get around to printing off pics. The only way I get time to do it is to go to a 'crop till you drop' night once a month at the local primary school! Soooo daggy! I would love to see pics of your crafty formula tins. Happy 'bday' to your boys tomorrow.

Haylie - Wow saying 'dada' & crawling! I am sooo not ready for that yet. I am still getting used to the rolling! Great that they are loving solids, it's fun trying all the new foods. I will get cracking on new pics (now that you taught me how) original.gif

Ali - yikes toddlers. Sounds like they have the running/climbing thing worked out!! You are soo organised with your shopping, very inspiring.

Tina - welcome! Our bubs are only a week apart in age, happy 7 month 'birthday' to yours this week (time sure flies doesn't it?).

Anna - sounds like you have been very busy with the move, hope all is going well in your new house.

Us - Apart from the daytime nap 'issues', all is well. They are sleeping well at night, so I'm grateful for that (touch wood)! Solids are taking a while with Isabel, she has a 5-mouthful maximum, but she loves her milk for now. I think they will have a couple of teeth in the next few days, all the signs seem to be there. Aaron is away with work for the next few days & I have stocked up on TV dinners to keep me going! Why cook for one?!!

My two are commando crawling - have been for around 2 weeks - no dada here yet (or anything else for that matter).

This photo was taken when they were around 4 weeks old

And a few weeks shy of 9 months old

Brandon is now on a milk strike - today he had around 300ml to drink and that was it - he just doesn't want milk and I'm worried as he's small as it is - he has almost fallen off the charts!
