Hi original.gif

After a long 12 year relationship and me stating quite firmly throughout that I'm just not the marrying kind, I'm slowly coming around to the idea.

Now the main two things that put me off is the cost, if I truly want to spend that kind of money on what I still see as a splurge and basically the whole idea of planning it all. I can't afford a fancy wedding planner and have no clue where the best places to start looking for ideas on dresses, flowers and reception venues in southern Tas. so though I could shortcut by getting some tips, I figure once I have somewhere to start I will get into the swing of it a bit more happy.gif

Any advice is welcome the only thing I know for sure at this stage is where to have the actual ceremony and TBH I'd be happy with just that but of course DF wants to have the 'after party' lol

*Also posted in wedding forums for more traffic, sorry if you have read it twice.
