Hi girls

My boys have recently gone back to waking a few times in the night.. so last night my DP was away in Sydney - usually that spells disaster for me with the boys sleeping (usually up 3 or 4 times) as i think they know when he is away and think its time to act up.. anyhow i have been trying to get them into a better routine by keeping them up to 7pm. They of course start whingeing around 5.15 or so, so usually DP just says to put them to bed - and they go to sleep straight away, but then are awake at 4am wanting to play.

So last night i gave them a big dinner of solids at 5.20pm (Zucchini followed by pureed pear/apple/banana), then they had a bath and i played with them til 6.45pm, then they got into their PJs and had a 200ml bottle each. They woke at 6.15am - and i did not hear from them all night!! Yay!

I am so going to have to make sure we do it every night and not listen to DP!!

Just thought i would share as i feel great not having to traipse around at 4am..

Just thought i would share..

Also my work just agreed to cut my hours back, so i am now working 3 days a week 8am to 6pm and having THurs & Fri off, starting next week. Yay!

Yah Keenan and Aidan!

Rach, I bet you feel so much better after a full nights sleep.

I know what you mean about them waking when DH is away. Mine always seem to know when he is away and play up. It's amazing!

Yah for Aidan & Keenan! That is awesome news!! It makes such a difference to both Mum's & Bubs!! After moving into their own room and own cots we are getting back to our normality of not waking too.

Enjoy Rach and hugs for your little Men Aidan & Keenan, what good little boys they are original.gif

Congratulations, that's wonderful news, I hope it continues for you! Now, if only my Aimee would start sleeping through again......

Maycee
Yay! Congratulations! Doesn't getting a decent amount of sleep in one block make a big difference?
Hope they keep having big night time sleeps,
Maycee

they woke once - at around 3am, but we gave them a bottle each (took 10 mins) and then they slept through til 7.15, so that was good!! I don't mind if they wake once, it was just getting ridiculous when they were waking 3 or 4 times and getting hard to go back to sleep! Thank god its Friday, i am so tired and just want to be at home.
