We've just bought a valco twin runabout. Our twin boys are due in about 2 months time. We bought this because we will need the toddler seat for our 2 year old son Liam. We're not entirely happy with it as we're used to the super good Emmaljunga which we've used for Liam. One thing which looks like it will be annoying is the basket underneath. I doubt any normal sized nappy bag would fit underneath. The basket itself is a reasonable size but there is a stupid middle bar which makes it hard getting things in and out. Just wondering what others do that also have this pram????
j@cquie
No unfortunately the twin Emmaljunga doesn't fit a toddler seat. Otherwise we would have bought that or the Mountain Buggy.
Oh well. think we'll have to put up with the Valco. I'm sure it's an ok pram overall.

Hi there,
I have been studying twin prams for awhile now and think I will settle for the Valco as well.. It is the only pram that fits a toddler seat. Dissapointed to hear negative responses about this pram, but I guess they all have there good and bad points... If only mothers of twins with toddlers could design a pram...maybe all our problems would be solved...LOL

I have the valco twin with toddler seat. The baskets are pretty small underneath, I agree! The nappy bag that I have is the kapoochi classic back pack. I just clip the straps of the nappy bag onto the handle.

We've got the Valco as well and were just sussing this out last night. The Kapoochi backpack can be clipped onto the handles and appears as tho it'd work quite well (bit hard for me to say at this stage as it's never until you're actually using things that you discover what works best). Bummer tho if you already have a nappy bag you want to use. Perhaps see if the bag you've got can be clipped on the handles somehow?

Hi there I too have the Valco and like the other ladies have said I have also attached my backpack to the handle and it works really well. The basket is small, but I only ever have a few items in there and tie shopping bags around the handle.

HOpe this helps original.gif

I guess that might be the only option unless we get 2 small bags which would fit underneath. Is the Kapoochi backpack very big?

At some stage my 2 year old will stand on the skateboard attachment at the bcak though and I guess this won't work then either.

Hi there: I have a nappy bag which has press studs on each strap so i can attach it to the handle, my d.h also sewed a few Velcro strips on each of the handles because the studs where not strong enough and kept coming undone. So it's press studded and velcro'd together on my handle. (If that makes sense) *LOL*
