Hi there,
I was just wondering if anyone used one of these? I have been given one by a friend but it looks so big and cumbersome I'm not sure I will find it comfortable. (Although trying it on around my 37 week pregnant belly isn't really a good indication I guess

)
I'd be interested in hearing your thoughts on these or alternatives that you were able to use that were more comfortable.
thanks
Elke

hi Elke
I found the cushion invaulable- much easier to use than tripillows or other pillows. I needed to put a small cushion behind my back though and when they were really small a small folded blanket over the front so that they didn't fall down the little gap in front.
I used it at night on a single bed with my back against a wall too and read a book while feeding (until they were big enough to start rolling around.) I got a lot of reading done and it made feeding quite realxing.
One night my cushion got a hole in it and started deflating during the feed. The babies started getting lower and lower until I was bent right over. It was a sad day the day the breastfeeding cushion died.
I was wondering where you get them? My friend is pregnant with twins and wants one (mine was given to me).
Good luck with the rest of your pregnancy. The cusion might take a bit of getting used to but I found it was worth it.

Has anyone used the "Milk Bar- twin"? I would love to know what it is like. I have the zoo pillow, which is OK- but I find it a little soft and you have to prop your feet up if you want the babies heads to be positioned right at your breast.

The breastfeeding pillow that I used is called my brest friend. It was a great pillow, and I was able to tandem feed easily with it. I don't think I could have fed by just "propping" myself up with normal pillows.

I wouldn't have been able to tandem feed without a twin-feeding pillow. I highly recommend one. I couldn't do it with just using pillows or towels to prop.
I used my "breast friend" pillow too.
Hope that helps

I bought a feeding mate pillow and found it invaluable- couldn't have tandem fed without it! I no longer use it as we are in the process of weaning and need to give some thought about what I am going t do with it.
Cheers!

Just wondering also if you bought the pillow prior to the birth or did you wait and see if the breastfeeding was working first? Not sure whether to buy one already...

Miriam are you going to be selling your breast feeding pillow soon ? Which one do you have ?
Currently I am using a triangle pillow to twin feed my boys but as they are getting heavier it is getting more difficult.
I need to buy something more suitable soon

Thanks for all the feedback on this. The cushion seems to not be branded but I have now had a chance to use it and it is good! I haven't quite mastered the art of getting them both on it myself yet but I'm sure that will come. If anyone has any tips for this it would be great!
Our twins were born last Thursday at 37 weeks and 1 day:
India Sofia 2.535 Kg and Jack Ferguson 2.34 kg. We came home yesterday and so far everything is going well.
thanks again
