I am so excited and happy to say that DH and I are going to have our next birth at home

we are not expecting our second baby yet but its never too early to make a birth choice

I don't know how the heck we are going to be able to afford it but I don't even care - we will get the money some how because it is so important to me.

Sorry, I know this must seem quite insignificant news to most others but I just feel like sharing it with the world because I am that happy about it and I am not yet going to tell family or friends..

We haev done the same, we've had to find $5000 for our midwife, but she accepts part payments, and is happy for you to continue paying after the birth with the baby bonus. We've put our quad bike on the market (DFs decision, its his baby!) as he knows how much I want this

At least you have time to start saving for it!

I remember the day after much research and contemplation, I decided my next baby would be delivered at home. It was a very empowering day. It is wonderful your DH is supporting you. Many midwives have payment plans and are happy for you to pay off the balance after you receive the baby bonus, so I am sure you will find a way
