Hey guys..
DP and I are due with our first in June and have discovered we have completely different taste in names!! Bit frustrating, but we have finally found some common ground in the following. Some of them I don't like as much as him, and my favourites are his least favourite, but we have both agreed that we can live with them all!
Boys names
Noah
Eli
Seth
Zeke
Girls names
Isla
Lilly
Chloe
Effy
Not too concerned with middle names, for a girl we would probably use Cate (not for Chloe though..) and for a boy would probably use James. We won't end up choosing a name completely until we meet our LO, but just wanted some opinions & suggestions based on our current list. Thanks!

Boys names
Noah- lovely
Eli- nice, but I only really like it as a nickname only to Elias or Elijah or even Elliot
Seth- very nice
Zeke- this is definitely a nickname only to Ezekiel
Girls names
Isla- lovely
Lilly- I think Lily is lovely but I'm not keen on this spelling. I would prefer Lillian or Liliana with Lily as a nickname only too
Chloe- very nice
Effy- really dislike and it's so incredibly nicknamey
Noah James and Isla Kate would be my picks, I really don't like the Cate spelling. I think Isla Lillian would be really lovely too.

Is it pronounced E-lie or Ellie?
I love Noah & Isla

Thanks everyone

I agree fifi-trixabelle, I like the extended names of Ezekiel & Elias/Elijah, but unfortunately DP doesn't so it's a compromise! Cate is a family name (my grandmother who passed away last month) so want to keep this spelling.
I-am-mum, it would be pronounced E-lie.
I think Isla Cate & Noah James are my favourites.. can't wait to meet the little tyke & see what it looks like! Thanks for your opinions!

Noah and Eli are great boy's names.
Isla for a girl.

Isla Cate
For a boy - Eli, but I'd choose a different middle name (not because James is a bad name but because every second little boy has it as a middle name).
