Is it all doomed?
Ive wanted kids since my late 20s. Husband number 1 had a car accident around then and then husband 2 strung me along for nearly 10 years on the promise of kids (hence Im now alone).
So here I am... 40, with low ovarian reserve, and a 1cm submucous fibroid wanting to do IVF.
Would love to hear from anyone going through same thing (single or not :-) )
Im trying to stay positive, but need a bit of support, so thought i would reach out here....

There is a a section for Assisted Conception Buddy Groups which you might find useful. There is one for ladies over 40 trying AC/IVF and one for ladies with low ovarian reserve. I bet if you hop over into one of them, there would be ladies in a similar position who could offer some much needed advice and support. Good Luck!

I'm single, aged 39 and 15.5 weeks pregnant from my 8th IVF transfer (4th stim). I had a 10cm fibroid removed before the successful cycle. You need to advocate well for yourself though, and don't let your FS/clinic waste any time. PM me if you have any questions and best of luck.

I know how you feel! While I'm not single, I've got fibroids, very low ovarian reserve (AMH: 1.1) and I'm doing IVF!
As PP mentioned you're more than welcome to come and join us in the Low ovarian reserve buddy group and please feel free to ask as many questions as you like.
Will you need to get your fibroid removed before you start?
