Can anyone please advise me from your wealth of experience. About 3 months ago we moved our 2yr old twins to a new room and big beds. In their cots they were sleeping through the night and also having day sleeps. Ever since the move they wake every night and often a few times a night and day sleeps have gone out the window. Part of the problem at night is that when one wakes they wake the other. I know I could seperate them but I'd prefer to find some way of just getting them to sleep through (if thats possible). Are they too old for control crying? I did that when they were young and it worked but I'm not sure if that works for toddlers. Please, does anyone have any tricks up their sleeve. I'm very sleep deprived and have another baby due in a week.

Cheers, Wendy

Hi,

My sister had the same problem and she was advised to do the following: sit on the end of the bed with your back to the child dont make eye contact and dont talk and just say mummy's here ... once child has settled gradually make your way to the bedroom door with your back to them the whole time and keep repeating mummy's here.
My sister only has one child and I know yours are in one room so I dont know how you are going to do it maybe one at a time or just do them both at the same time and stand with your back to them instead of sitting on the bed.

I hope this helps !!! Good Luck !!!
