I was just curious as to when you decided not to give your little darlings a bottle anymore. My girls have used little sippy cups for their juice for ages now but still have a bottle for their milk. What do you put their milk in if you are not using a bottle?
They are growing up WAY too fast!

I honestly cant remember the age it was but it was when they were able to drink out of a cup (we used ones with straws). We were lucky that they didnt associate a bottle with bedtime....we had dummies for that! We got rid of their dummies (they only used them for sleep) when they turned 3-we swapped their dummies for presents and they thought they were getting a great deal with that arrangement! (we'd worded them up for weeks...when you turn 3 you dont have dummies anymore....the first day or 2 they asked for them and after that they'd totally forgotten about them-very easy)

Hi Twinoski!! I am in the process of taking Ella & Liam off the bottles for good. Generally speaking at 12 months of age they don't need extra milk through a bottle - just the usual 3 serves of dairy a day to meet their calcium needs - that is of course unless your bub is a stubborn eater! which my two are definitely not!!
Ella & Liam are just on one bottle a day now - 180ml mix of milk and water before they go to bed. I am gradually reducing the amount & hope in the next month for them to get rid of the bottle all together.

Our babes are not really babes any longer are they !!! Can you beleive a whole year has passed !!?? where does the time go.......... original.gif
