Annoyed this morning as I woke up 1 1/2 hrs before my temp taking time Took temp anyway and it was 36.67... rolled over and went back to sleep and took temp at normal wake up time and it was 36.88 - big difference.

Have checked FF this morning and it says not to take temp in the middle of the night and try to keep to the same time even if waking in the night so I have entered the higher temp into the chart. Not sure tho...
Anyway will have to see what tomorrow brings.

Hi Danmia, if you temp correct in FF, your temp will come out at 36.82 or thereabouts - nice looking chart

even without temp correcting the one at the right time is right IYKWIM lol

Thanks Mel and jorgo - feeling better about my temp now And I've learned something new about FF - had never noticed the temp correct feature before! Usually I sleep like the dead and it takes a bomb going off to wake me so was quite peeved to find myself awake for no reason!

Bugger about the temp dive Mel... I guess its good and bad when it does that... at least you have a day or two to get used to the idea rather than AF arriving in full force with no warning.

I am quite proud of my pretty chart... problem is I think all of my charts have been pretty only to go to pot in the last couple of days and then AF arrives anyway. I think my body just likes to taunt me!

Where's the temp correct feature? How do you do it?

I'm still in the boring part of my cycle atm. Negative OPKs but I have been having some partial ferning which is a good sign. I still don't expect to O for a few days.

I have been taking evening primrose since CD1 to increase my CM but I have to say it isn't doing much. Maybe I need to start taking robitussin too?

pinkblue - to increase CM, try squats, kiegels or uncomfortable underwear... but squats work quite well. My naturopath also reckons large doses of magnesium work well too (my experience - it does work).

Thank you Lindyloo, yes, he'll be fine for next month, probably two weeks..... you know, I STILL don't think I've O'd yet that's 9 days of fertile CM. I wonder what the record is

I think the fact that I'm hanging around in here so much and playing with my chart so much is a good indication that I'm probably fixating a bit too much. I keep looking sideways at poor DH and wondering ....... but there's no way, since he's got stitches in his belly I've even been punching hypothetical numbers in my chart for the next two days to see if I could have o'd yesterday, but from my CM, I'd say I didn't. But you see, if by some chance I did O yesterday, and today's small spike was the beginning of upward temps, then I've got a slight chance since we last BD's early on CD17 which means it's within the 3 days.

So, I guess I'm obsessing....... need to accept this month is a right off.

I even had a dream early this morning that I was taking my temp, and I was already PG

At least you get the EWCM thats a great sign, even if you were to O today or tomorrow im sure the little spermies would be able to stay around in an enviroment like that so I wouldnt be too worried, but like you said the spike this morning could very well be the rise! I hope so, FX for you!

I forgot is this your first too? sometimes I feel like its never going to happen for me, like the feeling of pregnancy feels too foreign for me.. I hope thats just a silly thing. My dad bought me a starlight gem today, in the light it shows a single star in the middle and sparkles beautifully, he said its my little bit of luck and I look at it and it gives me hope :-)

Even though it looks like copious amounts of lovely flowing EW, it's not really. Like today it was stretchy and clear but really quite dry. yesterday, there was hardly any at all, but some, so I had to record it. the two days before that is seemed like a nice sperm friendly environment. But I've had lots of months in the past when they haven't survived the 5 days.

Not my first, this would be my fourth. Having baby's is very addictive

Until it happens to you, it's just a concept, ie it's not 'real' a lovely, magical concept, even when actually PG, it's hard to believe

So really it sounds like perhaps your O'd two days ago? perhaps because it was lovely and abundant then, its just getting the last bits out?? It seems we all in here are pretty much in sync this month, looking out to read about some BFP!

I'd say I've finally O'd. FF hasn't picked it up yet, but, I'm pretty sure, i did. Please can you stalk my chart and tell me which day you think I probably did.

I'm quite anxious, as we've given ourselves a deadline of next month, if not UTD by then, then we are calling it quits because of our age.

So, it's either this cycle or next cycle

It's especially relevent coz the last time we BD'd was late of CD 16, or early CD17, however you choose to chart, but it was around midnight, and I temp early early in the AM.

Am very interested to know what everyone thinks, espec you Jorgo

Last night I had the weirdest dream haha..
I had a syringe full of semen.. and It was a few days old so i thought oh im out. and I tested it on my hand before putting it in and they were big prawn like spermies flapping around so strong and big! and I said to DH so so excited ' look look they are so strong, it will definately work this time!' then I visulised it implanting in the egg. It was a lean mean fighting machine these little spermies.. I think I must be obsessing too much!!

I have a question. This is for people who've done some assisted conception. I had my trigger shot yesterday. My IUI is booked for tomorrow morning. I know that the time between the trigger and the IUI is standard, but my concern is that because I'm temping and my charts are usually pretty good, it looks like I ovulated yesterday, so having my IUI 2 days later might be useless. That being said, maybe the trigger is playing around with my temps?

I tried ringing the clinic, but it rang out (low staff members on weekends). And I was feeling so good about this cycle...

It's a beautiful Saturday here today (Adelaide)! Hope you are all enjoying your weekend

Temp has stayed pretty much the same, stopping the steady dive. 11DPO for me, just a waiting game now. If temp is up tomorrow will do an IC HPT, I think. Not really expecting it to be though.

Spent yesterday at work working out how much time off I can get if I get pregnant now, or in May or in June! I am a teacher, and school holidays add on to maternity leave to extend it. Seems that getting pregnant in May or June is better than now! But, of course will take a BFP tomorrow, thank you LOL

When I check up my EPS from DD, it looks like I got shooting pains after implantation. But, over the last few cycles, I have got them too and some yesterday actually - so pretty random.

AFM - Have just O'd, although FF did pick up on it awhile go and then changed it's mind.
Had a + OPK a few days ago, so fingers crossed we caught the eggy!
Next cycle I am have a HSG done - hopefully it's not too painful!

Chocolate Mousse (I always read it as Choc Mouse!) I am with jorgo... I think probably day 20 or 21. You could put in a couple of higher temps for the next few days and see what FF has to say?

Pinkblue - I did the EPO this month and Robitussin for the days I got the +OPK and I have to say I had very little CM compared to normal!! I have read that the EPO can take a couple of cycles to show an effect... not sure if I'll try it again next month or not tho...

AFM - my temp is holding steady still today in the 36.8's. It usually does the AF dive on CD12 so if it is still up tomorrow I might cave and test early. If it dips to the 36.6's then I will just wait for the witch. No EPS here... sore boobs today but that is normal this close to AF.

Danmia - your chart is still so pretty!

Just played with FF a bit and found the trigger shot checkbox (called "HCG shot"). It now says:

Note: You have recorded an HCG trigger. Please use the menu Analysis/Manual Override to set your ovulation date according to what is recommended by your health care provider.

So I'm guessing that I ignore my temps or they're not as reliable in this instance. Sigh and grrr...

well obviously if you have had a trigger you go by the trigger - but you were saying you had charting O signs BEFORE you got to the triggerpersonally i'd just mark the day you had the trigger with a note or a personalised symptom data- and leave it on auto detect

AFM.. I forgot to mention that last night I prayed and I asked for a sign. I am not overally religious but I asked for a sign that hopefully this was the month, then I had the prawn spawn dream, then in the car my brother said he went to a pond and was catching baby prawns which made me laugh out load as I remembered my dream, then I was flicking through TV and was watching a cartoon which was about sea monkeys, then I was driving and drove and got lost and went past the day care tadpoles (i am not from this area so I wouldnt know it was there) LOL it could all be nothing but I would so freak out if at the end of the month I was... so thought I would tell you now incase maybe it does happen! haha.

Meanwhile my temp is messed up due to getting up at 4:00 for DD. Went back to sleep and took temp 3 hours later - but 1.25 hrs later than usual time. I haven't temp corrected though, cos otherwise it wouldn't be after 3 hours of sleep.

Not holding out much hope this month. So, probably off for that HSG during the week

gee there was a big difference in the two temps I took early this am and later this am.

I was woken up by DS at 12.30, and fell asleep properly then, and woken up again at 3.30, temp was 36.26, then three hours later, after more proper sleep, it was 36.65. So quite a difference.

I thought maybe I should put in the small temp since it was obviously low, and maybe more of an accurate temp, but when I do, FF reckons I still haven't O'd then When I put in the higher one, obviously FFputs in the O date as CD 20 which we all kinda thought anyway.


But I'm still having some EWCM (although it's really dry and stretchy), so I'm totally confused this month.

Any ideas re which temp I should go by?

Given that it was still after 3 hours and probably around your normal temping time, I would use the second temp. If you hadn't have temped then and just temp corrected your first, you would still get around 36.6

AFM - I was spotting last night and I got excited thinking maybe implantation of "Harry", but my temp dropped a lot today, so I think I'm just getting in early on this EPS malarky . More likely AF on the way. My arthritis has been a bit less aggressive over the weekend though, so I'm very happy about that.

jorgo your definately a valued member here! I really hope your body gets in to gear.. Have you thought about doing anything with your knowledge in this area?

I think I will be joining you tomorrow, had a fair temp dive this morning and symptom-wise all is looking totally on track for AF to arrive tonight or tomorrow *sigh* I have to catch a plane on Thursday and I was hoping not to have to deal with the witch in an aeroplane toilet!

I think I might have to finally stop putting off the docs visit and see about getting a referral for ultrasound and perhaps also HSG to see whats what. The ostrich approach obviously isn't working for me!
