Hi there

Can someone please recommend me dark brown home hair colour that is actually dark brown and not closer to black, or even a normal brown that is darker than what you expected, but again just not close to black.

thank you

I buy a chocolate brown one that's in a red box. I can't for the life of me remember the brand at the moment. I'll think about it and see if I can remember.

Ok I remember now. It is Schwarzkopf Brilliance Bitter Sweet Chocolate. Or they also do a Chocolate Rush which is a bit lighter.

I've also found this one to be a good colour.

I found that 'chocolate' gave me a red tinge so I usually go for Natural Brown in Schwarzkopf Colouriste. The first 3 washes I find are extremely dark, but by the 4th it is a nice natural shade.

Don't buy any called 'dark brown'. It will make your hair black.

Trust me.

You'd probably be better off buying a medium brown, and if you want to go a bit darker, mix half a pack of dark brown into it. This is what I do to get a little darker, without going black.

Dark brown just ain't what it used to be laugh.gif
