As the Topic Title says, is there any way to make the name Janet nice?
Either a variant of the name or a first name that sounds pretty.
I can't think of anything!
TIA

Jeanette?
I like Jeanette.
Maybe Janet-Anne or some combination like that, if that kind of thing is your style? (Probably not something I would do but it's an idea?)
ETA: Janelle?

I think Jane is nicer than Janet. (Janet was very nearly my name - I was born late 60s and even then I think it was a bit dated).

Thanks everyone.
Can anyone suggest a first name that might sound nice with it and make it sound better?

I like Jana and Janetta. I don't mind Janet.
Would need some indication of your taste to make other FN suggestions. I'm guessing Janet would go with heaps of names.

I know a Janece ( late thirties). It's pronounced "Jan - eece" (at least, that how she introduces herself).

I have a sister officially called Janet. In Scotland where my family come from the name is often shortened to Jinty which is what my sister has been called all her life.
People are really surprised to find her name is Janet.
