Ok so in my other thread re: london for a girl, a few people commented that London didnt fit well with my other girls names and also that i need a middle name to continue the theme also of my other two DD's.
So the first name must have a Y in it, and the middle name must be 4 letters and start and finish with A.
(i didnt even realise this when naming DD2, it was not an intentional thing).
Aliyah Asia
Jayda Asha
So please make some suggestions all i can come up with is:
First name:
Amaya
Kyah
Tyra
Tyla
Indy
Middle Name:
Ayla
Aria
Also i do love the name Ayla could i get away with using it as a middle name, if DD1 is called Aliyah?
Thanks,
V

Anya - spelling for slavic and russian heritage
variant spelling is Anja - for dutch heritage
This is a form of Anna, very common in Europe and used as a nickname for little girls named Anna.
Is the name of Audrey Hepburn's character in Roman Holiday.

As an aside OP I wouldn't personally worry whether their names match, both my boys have X names and everyonw joked that we needed to name DD Xena

to continue the tradition but we love her name and no one even notices that it doesn't 'match' the boys, also one of my sons has a family name and DD has a family name as middle names but DS2 simply has a name we liked at the time. I certainly wouldn't be sacrificing names you like just for the sake of some name pattern.

would complement Asia nicely.

I'm sure when people commented about the name 'fitting in', they didn't mean it had to replicate the number of letters and the letters in the name. If you were to widen the criteria a little, there are lots of names which would go well with your other daughters' names:
Middle names:
Zara
Tara
Cara
Anya
aliyah's mum

Was there really any need for that? Im not sure if you are trying to be funny or what?

Asia is the name of a continent and it starts and ends with A. So are my suggestions.
And clearly you like place names, as you suggested London. So I'd have thought my suggestions were quite appropriate.

wow that is hard! I wonder did whoever said to stick with the theme did they actually mean the letter combinations or the "feel"?Aliyah and Jayda have the same sort of "feel" to me but London doesn't quite fit? Might make the criteria a bit easier....

oh and this just looked like a misunderstanding to me - I didn't think senecio was trying to be funny or make fun of you at all

I second Anya / Ania / Anja.
Anna, Adia and Aura are also quite nice.
Or maybe a few more letters such as Angela, Andrea, Alexa, Ambra?
For first names, how about something like Hayley, Allyson, Soraya, Dayna, Carly, Yara, Alyssa, Lauryn, Kayla, Kayleigh or Bethany?
I personally like Bethany Anya or Lauryn Alexa.

My eldest two have a y in their first name and i wanted another with a y in for the third - we had a girl and few we had on our list were Darcy and Alyssa although that may be too close to your other DD's name.
Others i can think of are
Kyla
Macy
Lacey
Hayley
Shraya
Freya
Daisy
Molly
Milly
As for the middle name
Asha
Aria
Afia

Ayla is a bit to similar to Aliya. Ayda (or Aida) would be nice. You could even do Ayva/Aiva.
I like Aria too (I think you'll find it's Italian), but the "A" has a very different sound to both Asia and Asha.

Thankyou so much for all the replies!
I never thought i would have this much trouble choosing a name, DD1 was a name we had chosen before i was ever pregnant, DD2 well her name was a choice of two and chosen straight after she was born but this time i feel like i keep second guessing myself.....
Cant wait till Monday now to find out if its a boy or a girl.
Thanks again
