[color=Teal]I can't believe it, but our boys will be 2 tomorrow. Where has the last 2 years gone?!?! I'll no longer be referring to their age in months from tomorrow, it'll all be in years!! ;p

We've planned a toddlers party for them on Saturday at lunchtime, and then we're having the adults party later on that day so that DH and I can have a bit of a celebration too!

I know that friends with children warned us that the years would fly by, but I had no idea it would be this fast!

Wow-it only seems like yesterday that you had your boys! Happy birthday to them and congratulations to you and DH for surviving!

You will be amazed at what this next year brings as far as development goes-its truely amazing.

Well, we had the boys birthday parties yesterday and both were a big success!! We took them to a kids play centre for their kiddy party, and it was brilliant!! All the kids had a fabulous time playing, and they all ate themselves silly! It was absolute heaven to be able to turn up, wreak havoc, make a mess and then walk away! ;p They even organised lolly bags for us and balloons. Very much worth the money!

The adult party later in the day was a lot of fun. I had decided to make things as simple and easy as possible, so I organised nibblies etc, but then had gourmet pizzas delivered (which went down a treat!). The boys partied for a few hours and then were put to bed, so it was then the grown ups turn!!

I still can't believe they're 2!

I haven't been on EB for a few days so this is a late happy birthday to Ryan and Kai. I was thinking of you on Friday as my girls are 3 days younger so we seem to have been at the same stage throughout this exciting journey. Glad everything went so well.

Hi Vanessa, I'm so glad the parties went well. I think the way you organised it was very sensible! We went to a 2nd birthday party too on the weekend at a play centre and I was very impressed. As you said, it's great to be able to have a ball and then not have to worry about cleaning up afterwards. I'll have to keep the way you organised your parties in mind for my children's next birthdays.
