Dh and I have committed to TTC later this year. Not being pregnant does not stop me contemplating baby names! I have two boys, Lachlan and Elliot.

Any suggestions for a good name for our next bubba, boy and girl? Had Elliot been a girl he would have been Ava but it's popularity has kind of put me off. I can't have anymore L names either.

So, naming gurus of EB, what do you think might tickle my fancy?

I'm going for Adam for this baby if it's a boy, Lauren for a girl.

Do you like modern names or old fashioned names? A few that spring to mind for a boy are Michael, Matthew, James, Christopher, Daniel. For a girl - Melanie, Lucy, Chloe, Rebecca.

Sorry, not very inspirational today and as you can tell I like old fashioned names original.gif

Actually the L thing reminds me of that fantastic 80s band the Go Betweens. They had a thing of including lots of Ls in their album titles - one of which was Tallulah (full list here: http://www.go-betweens.org.uk/discography/gbalbums.htm). If you decide to rethink the L thing, that would be a good choice! (And yes, I am an 80s tragic)

Otherwise my pick would be Catriona (pron, Catrina) as it has the Scottish thing happening and is just a nice name, I think.

For boys, I like Ian with your other names.
Gudrun
Heather and Angus
Audrey Hepburn
Elliot & Lachlan are such beautiful names, they will be hard to match.

I would go with a classic girls name or something a little old fashioned.

Oh definately some ideas here...I think you've pegged me! I certainly like classic names but want something that is a little original I think. Yay!!!
