How about Olivia Jade, very pretty!
VioletSwallow
I like both. I think Olivia Jade is a nice combo.
My top picks from you list would be

1. Olivia
2. Jade
3. Evie
4. Alexis
fifi-trixibelle
Out of Olivia and Jade, I definitely prefer Olivia, it's lovely.

My thoughts on the others:
Alexis- nice, but I much, much prefer Alexandra
Tara- lovely
Evie- lovely, but I prefer it as a nickname only to Eva, Eve or Genevieve
Bella- is see this as a nickname only to Annabella, Isabella, Arabella or any other name with 'bella' in it
Ruby- lovely
Sophie- gorgeous
Isla- lovely
Holly- lovely

Sophie is most definitely my favourite overall.

Well my favourite combo of ALL your picks would be:

Isla Jade

But of your main two choice, I think if you want to use both Olivia Jade would work. But if you want to use just one, I prefer Jade.

Good luck!

Alexis - love
Tara - i find boring

Olivia
Alexis

I've never liked the name Olivia and have never been able to work out why it's so insanely popular. Just me though.

Out of those names I like Alexis (although prefer Alexa) and Holly the most. Gorgeous names. I also like Jade, Tara, Isla and Sophie. Bella is lovely, but feels like a nickname to me (and still very 'Twilight').

I think Alexa Jade has a nice flow (and AJ are very cool initials Tounge1.gif).

Congratulations on your little girl.

We are naming our little girl Jade! Due in 8 weeks.

Not a big fan of Olivia.

I like Tara and Evie from your list.
queeney
you must have very similar tastes to my mum.

My sis is Jade, and I am Tara!!

Love both our names, and have only met 1 other Tara, and 2 other Jades
Buggylicious
Olivia and Jade are not my style.

I like Evie, Ruby and Sophie out of the other names.

Having a Daughter with the name Tara, I have to say it is a really lovely name and is much loved and commented on by most!

I think Olivia Jade sounds lovely. Also Tara Jade works original.gif

IMO Jade is a bit 1980's and Olivia a bit too popular atm. Both still quite nice names original.gif.

Others on your list i like more are Holly and Isla.

Good luck original.gif.
Gudrun
Olivia Jade works well but my pick is Holly.
~ Four Blessings ~
My pick is Olivia but I am biased as that is DD's name.

I think Olivia Jade sounds beautiful together.

As for your other names:

Alexis - I really like this name
Tara - Not really my style
Evie - I think this is a gorgeous name
Bella - makes me think of Twilight and so therefore not really something I would choose.
Ruby - I adore this name and would have loved it for DD but DH wasnt that into it.
Sophie - very cute name.
Isla - I like it but wouldnt use it.
Holly - this is my neice's name and its so cute I really like it.

Overall I like your name choices and I am sure whatever you choose will be lovely.
Would love your opinions.

Would you consider Olive rather than Olivia? I have noticed that there seem to be loads of Olivias, Sophies and Rubys in upper primary school/early high school at the moment (at least in our area). Jade also quite popular but probably a bit earlier. I do like Evie from your list but would have Eve, Eva or Evelyn as the official name and Evie as the nickname.
Dabri
I like Tara, Alexis and Sophie from your list.

Really don't like Olivia, Ruby or Bella.

Jade is okay but a little dated.
soelluet
Love Sophie and Ruby. Isla, Bella and Olivia are also favourites from your list. The rest are NMS
Audrey Hepburn
Love Sophie & Holly. Oliver for a boy is great but dislike Jade immensely.

My preference would be Elizabeth and then choose another middle name. Ruby is common and Jade, erm, a name beloved by common people.

What did Jenny Eclair say about Jade on that grumpy old people show - very working class, lands with a thud.

(There is nothing wrong with being working class, but I think she is on to something about how the name lands with a thud.)

I don't like Bella. I can't imagine an Italian person naming their child Beautiful. People always seem to think it funny when a polynesian person names their daughter Lovely or some such. I can't see why Bella is an exception to that.

I also don't think naming a child Evie is a good idea. It just sounds like a nickname.

My favourites from your list at Tara (like Kara too) and Holly. Ruby is nice too.

I prefer Olivia to Jade.

Out of your list I love Olivia and Sophie!
fifi-trixibelle
From Olivia Jade and Ruby Elizabeth I definitely prefer Ruby Elizabeth but I think Olivia Ruby, Ruby Olivia or Elizabeth Ruby would be lovely too.
~THE~MAGICIAN~
Both perfectly fine elegant first names.

I prefer Olivia slightly over Jade. Olivia Jade sounds great together.

I also like Ruby & Sophie from your list.
