I love the name Chase but i can't convince DP...yet... so i was thinking of some similar names to try him on and came across Chance, so WDYT of Chance?

my DS1's name is 'diffrent' but not odd or 'bogany' (well i dont think its bogany anyway) but definatly not common so i want somthing else along those lines.
WHY are boys names so hard?





we have our girls name picked out DP wants Peyton lee (lee is his fathers name) if we have a DD i like the name (don't LOVE it but i like it enough to use it) but we are really struggling with boys names. dp just wont suggest anything seriouse.

Dont like Chance at all, sorry. I do like Chase though. I would use that.

Chase is nice, Chance not so much.

Any other suggestions that arn't the usual EB name suggestions? i stalk this forum constantly and nothing other then the above has jumped out at me.
DP definatly wont let me use noah and he says he dosnt like jonah either.... ahhh he is so dificult! i told him to pick some names but he is being a PITA and suggesting names of mythical greek gods and such...like its all a big joke and i like to have a name 'settle' for a while in my mind before i fully decide on it, im 23 weeks so would like to find one soon.

i like charlie but i think its a bit to traditional. i will see what dp says about it.

i can't use Cohan as SIL is pregnant 5 weeks behined me and her number one boys name is cohan.
can't use toby either, i love the name but used it already on my cat

levi is my nephews name (my nephews are levi, preston and Archie and neice is Olivia so those names are no goes)
Jett cant be used due to it being our dogs name who passed away last year.

i like the name Darcy but can't see it on a little baby..

We struggled with boys names as well and Harper and Chase were the only 2 we liked so used them both... (Jonah and Jett i loved 2 but couldnt use)

I agree Charlie could be similar to Chase

I dont like Chance though

I love the unusual names also and i have 2 boys and one on the way and i always found it easier to find boys names.

My older sons name is Tua which means ancestors in samoan (named after my father in law who passed away when hubby was young)

Second sons name is Montel which means mountain in french (we used the letters of our first names)

And this time around we are naming our son Octavius which was the name of the roman emperor who formed the roman empire (means the eigth, and since im born in August/8th month and hubby is born in October- the Oct part)

All our sons names have meaning behind them so it made them a bit special...

I love the name chase alot so hopefully hubby lets you use it!!!
