[color=Teal]The boys have a strange habit of when they drink water, they have a few mouthfuls which they swallow, and then after that any more mouthfuls are spat out and it goes all over the front of them! This happens whether we give it to them in a bottle or in a sippy cup thingy, and I end up having to take the bottles away from them.

It's something they've been doing for at least 6 months and I'd hoped they would have grown out of it by now. They get thirsty, and they're happy to drink water, but after the first few mouthfuls everything turns pear-shaped!

It never happens with milk though... only water!

Has anyone else experienced anything like this? It's very strange and quite frustrating. :quest:

Yes our boys do the same - although now it is not very often(thank goodness) but they would be in hysterics at each other- I wasn't though.

I really have no suggestions as they also did it for a long time I just kept taking the water off them and hoping they grew out of it.I tried everything but in the end I ignored them.(gave up) seems to have worked to some degree LOL.

[color=Teal]Thanks so much for your reply Kristy. I'm hoping that our boys will grow out of it too, but in the meantime I'll just have to keep an eye on them! ;p
