Hi all,

Well it's Sunday night, then end of another long week with multiples so before I nip off to bed I thought it might be fun to reflect on the week that was which brought me to these questions.......

1. What was the worst multiple moment of the week for you?
2. What was the funniest moment for you?

For me:

1. What was the worst multiple moment of the week for you?
Scarlett's new trick of banging her head on the floor when she is frustrated..we only have thin lino on a concrete base so it kills me to hear her banging her forehead on the ground. Last night she did it at a friend's place who has tiles sad.gif Did I mention I have a huge phobia about the sound of heads being banged since my Mum had a huge fall several years ago?? Makes me feel sick

2. What was the funniest moment for you?
Scarlett and Joe in the bath tub yesterday while their big sister was in the shower..they all thought it was funny to be getting cleaned at the same time as usually I do the twin baths and then Ab's shower but DH did Ab's shower as we were in a hurry.
Also Scarlett singing karaoke at our friends place last night..such a laugh!

Next.........

Worst multiple moment:

Eleanor feeling very sick yesterday with a high temperature after waking up vomiting at 4.30am Sunday morning (consequently I was awake the rest of the night worrying). Having to take her to the doctor who says it's a virus so nothing we can do. So a sick little girl who just wanted to sleep all day so no going out for any of us yesterday.

Best multiple moment:

Getting back from the doctor yesterday morning with Eleanor to Harriet so happy to see her that she laughed and laughed with joy - we'd only been gone for an hour!

Oh, I've got two - when Eleanor was going to bed at 5 last night (after sleeping all day!) Harriet gave her a kiss and Eleanor put her arms around Harriet and patted her on the back - too cute!

Worst Moment~ Mmmm lots of them last week. Both the girls climbing the fence to get to the mailbox!! Also discovering how to move chairs to the back door & any other door in the house & opening them cool.gifo:. We have high door knobs, so openening the doors has never been a prob. Even with the door opening inwards, Danika can has worked out how to open the door & get outside! She tried it last night while I was in the shower.

Best moment~ ok, when they wake up they always HAVE to cuddle each other. They find where the other is & cuddle saying "big cuddles".

Another funny moment, watching them breastfeed their dolls! Kateleigh is really into breastfeeding & keeps asking where my milk is! Last night when I was in the shower she said "Mummy's milk run away"! wink.gif

Hi Maree- I would have PMd you but it was disabled.

If your little one is still sick today and HASN'T started having diarrhoea, you might want to go back to the doctor to ask them to check her for a urinary tract infection. Fever and vomiting is very non-specific in youngsters, and we're taught to be suspicious of the diagnosis of "gastro" until the vomiting phase has turned into diarrhoea.

Sorry about the hijack!

Worst- after a week of tonsilitis and colds for all 4 kids, the boys started up with diahorrea! I am sooo over sick kids!

Best- the boys are really trying to talk more and the otehr night DH was saying a word and they would repeat it; dog, cat, flower, kiss... they would both just make the lip smacking sound when we say kiss, they won't say the word and they do it in unison, very cute!

Great idea for a thread! Especially after the week I had last week. *lol*

Worst - All their cheeky behaviour culminating in a tantrum from me! You know, doing cheeky things on purpose, just pushing all my buttons really.

Funniest - The weekend, having DH home for support and spending the day out in the garden with all the kids yesterday. Josh was afraid of the mower because it was so loud so he went and hid down the side of the house. When I went to get him I said, "It's ok, Daddy's just mowing, can you say mowing?" And he said, "Yes, mowing, just like Dorothy!" It was a very funny moment. original.gif

What a great idea!! I had a shocking week last week, I was knocked for a 6 by the flu and spent 3 days in bed, then the kids got it! I could really use hearing some cute stories.

Worst moment
All of yesterday (Sunday)! I was finally feeling well enough to do a couple of things around the house, but Paige was clinging like a limpet to me ALL day, whining the whole time from sun up 'til sun down. She just wore me down and I ended up in tears, mostly because I had run out of energy and ideas to help her. It only ended when I sent her to bed early at 6.30.

Funniest moment
On Saturday, Hannah had 'Dorothy, would you like to dance with me?' stuck in her head and was skipping around the house singing 'Dooo-rothy, Dooo-rothy, Dooo-rothy' for about an hour (its the only line she can sing!)

Here's to a better week all around this week.

Great thread Jo

Worst- Deciding they don't want to sleep during the day anymore and becoming little monsters by 4.

Best- Sleeping today. We have been to parks and out a bit this week and they have been great fun(behavedLOL) so we have had alot of good moments.
I find how multiples share is amazing- I can't give one something, otherwise the one getting it will get upset until you give the other one a piece.

Hope everyone has a good week this week
