Hi everyone,

Just curious about this. When did you first feel your twin (or more) babies move?

I started feeling ever so slight nudges and squirmy feelings at about 16 wks but it took me a week to convince myself it was the babies and not just my digestive system!! It never felt to me like butterflies or bubbles like many people describe it.

The nudges have slowly gotten more and more frequent and obvious and now I can feel definite movements but am still waiting for kicks that can be felt from the outside.

The babies seem to mostly like to play volleyball with my gullet - which, considering I still have morning sickness is really not a whole lot of fun!

I started feeling movements at about 18 weeks I think. I too had to convince myself they were movements and not just my stomach rumbling or something like that! So really they probably started sooner, but to me they weren't recognisable as baby movements until around the 18 week mark.

After then though, they didn't stop moving around for the whole pregnancy! My girls were great for getting the hiccups also. When I had been told that unborn babies get the hiccups, I thought yeah right... But the girls got them at least once a day and sometimes I could see my stomach moving with each hiccup. I remember one time also they both had them at the same time as I felt it up near my ribs and also down near my pelvis. It was awesome!

AT 12 weeks, just before we found out it was TWINS! It was my 2nd pregnancy. original.gif

[color=Teal]I felt my first little flutter at around the 18 week mark, and then it just got bigger and better from there! I loved feeling the boys kick and I really missed it once they were born, so enjoy it while it lasts! wink.gif

It was about 18 weeks for me. First pregnancy, so had no idea what I was supposed to feel. To me it felt like 'butterfly kisses', only on the inside IYKWIM. Again, once they started they never stopped (and still haven't at 21mo LOL). When DH and I used to 'spoon' in bed (my tummy to his back), they used to beat him up as well. They were hiccupy babies too (mum tells me I was too), and often at the same time - cute, but not so cute at 2am. Its all very lovely when you think back (and your brain has conveniently glossed over the m/s, back pain, rib pain, reflux, swollen ankles, etc, etc). Quick someone put up a horrible pregnancy story, I'm getting clucky and I must be stopped!

I could feel twin 2 at first due to the positioning of bub. That was about the 11 - 12 wk mark. Then about a couple of weeks ago i started to feel twin 1 as well. I still can't always tell though which twin is which but some of the movements are more noticable which rugrat it is from. These twins are also 6 & 7 bub for me which is why i prob can feel them more often than i would have if they were my first pregnancy.
