What a great idea Crocks to start a thread for Multiples aged over 2 I was hoping to chat with others that have Multiples under 1.....
Sometimes you have the slightest bit of 'guess what' news and feel a little silly to start a thread, but if we have a general chat thread it could go in there??

Hoping everyone with multiples under 1 are enjoying this time and challenges that we are all encountering...

Hayden and Brooklen had their Second set of needles (immunisation) yesterday and today i have two grumpy babies with a slight temperature. They are growing so fast and I cant believe that soon they will be sitting up!
Brooklen is rolling front to back and back to front and Hayden is a general boy and seems to just want to chill out and watch his sister for entertainment. We are also at the growling and rahhh stage so that is very funny.
How are your babies going??? What are they up to?

Hi - I have Emma and Brandon - xmas eve babies - 7 months old next Friday - wow time flies. Emma rolled at around 4months, Brandon rolled at a week shy of 6 months. Emma is close to sitting up, Brandon will be a month or two off yet I think. They are on two solid meals a day, 4 bottles - sleeping 7 - 7 (slept through the night with a dreamfeed at 3 months). Both have two bottom teeth (which turned up about 2 days after they were 6 months old).

Hi Haylie,
What a good idea.
Isabel & Jessica are 3 weeks older than Hayden and Brooklen (I was due 21st March!).

They both have a cold at the moment, so they have stopped sleeping through the night and it's wearing everyone's patience a bit thin! Poor munchkins, you feel a bit helpless not being able to dose them up with Codril! They should be having their immunisations this Wed so hopefully (or not?! I hate taking them!) their colds will be ok by then.

They aren't rolling yet, but I'm sure it's only a matter of days. They love to stand up when being held and also 'sing' along to music very loudly...

This is a great idea original.gif

Oscar and Brodie will be 4 months on the 28th July. We are having problems at the moment with Oscar suffering bad eczema especially on his head and face. We try to watch what we are all wearing etc but it is so hard to keep him free of things that set him off.

Both boys are full of laughs and smiles and are good sleepers - 10 to 12 hours at night, which also keeps mummy smiling too original.gif

Oh yes Haylie we had better book in for those second set of needles...........Ouch

Take care - It will be great chatting and catching up with your babies.

MrsBlud ~ wow two teeth, that is good. Sounds like Emma is a little like Brooklen. Miss determined to do everything before my BIG brother!! Hayden giggled and laughed before Brooklen though...She is working on a baby 6 pack of Abdominal muscles, she is just so strong! She is always strapped in now LOL
What age did you start them on solids and what were the solids? (rice cereal, vegies?)

Lisa ~ How did Isabel and Jessica go with their immunisations and have their colds eased up? Hope so its not nice. Hayden & Brooklen have not had a cold yet but I am not looking forward to it (Hayden did get Kennel cough from one of our neices but is fine now) That is a spin out that you were due on their b'day! Singing to music that is adorable!

Rach ~ Sorry to hear that Oscar is suffering so badly with the eczema, is he on a medicated cream? That must be tricky for you all and I hope it gets better. My g/f little girl has it too very agressive. She uses lucas paw paw and that keeps it less aggrivated.
We are also getting a full nights sleep from Hayden and Brooklen. It makes a world of difference. They go to bed anytime between 7pm -8pm and wake between 6-7am.

Dont worry the second set of needles are a little easier as you know what to expect, I still cried more than them though!

We had our first family swim yesterday so Phil could be there for their first swim and today we had the first swimming lesson and I couldnt believe it - the instructor guided us to put them underwater head and all!!! OMG - scary but they didnt seem to mind too much my helper and I were very nervous!!! Brooklen screamed on the way out and got a belly full of water LOL.....Priceless moments.

This is great to chat to you all like this! Looking forward to expanding our group a little LOL, with lots of new comers Scotthenry, Sylvs, and Lindy!!

what a wonderful idea. Madelyn and Tiahna are 10months and 1week old so if you think you can kick me out of here in 2 months you have another thing coming. LOL. So lovely to read how you are all going.
Madelyn and Tiahna can now stand unsupported for about 15seconds. They walk around all of the furniture. The girls looooove their food and everyone elses! They have six teeth each. The last four all came so quickly. They get a rash around their mouth and I put a little Lucas Paw Paw on. I highly recommend it. Can't wait for swimming lessons on Saturday. Haylie : everyone has been warning me about dunking them under the water. OMG. I hope they don't cry 'cause then I'll cry!!!!
Hope you all have a wonderful weekend

They actually had their first taste of solids at 3 1/2 months. Brandon was always hungry - it was custard (baby custard) as I had some in the cupboard from the Coles baby box. they only had that twice, then i bought rice cereal. I mucked around with that for a while (giving them something once or twice a week) - then I gave them some vegies (pumpkin and potato) - I didn't get serious until they were 5 months old - one meal a day of vegies. From around 5 1/2 months they've been on two meals a day - one before their 11am feed, and one at around 5pm, before bath and bottle. They have yoghurt and fruit in the am, and vegies at dinner. I think we are almost ready to introduce breakfast with the view to dropping another bottle at 8 months (they are 7 months old on sunday) and going to 3 meals, and 2 snacks a day (they came home from scn on 6 bottles a day, dropped to 5 at 3 months, and then to 4 at six months).

Hi guys.

I will difinately check out the Lucas paw paw - thanks for that. Oscar at the moment is on Sigmacort cream from the dr to clear it up, and QV in the bath etc (but it doesn't help) Then I will have to use a form of prevention to keep it at bay. He was awake in the night scratching away at it, so I am off to get mittens today, but he sucks anything to death!!!!

Can't wait to start swimming, I just have to find a place that Chris can get to during the day to help me. I think they will both love it - their big brother certainly did.

Well got to go a very busy day and weekend ahead.
Bye for now

Hi, I have Tayla and Jake October 04 babies (9 months, our precious IVF babies after 7 years of TTC.

We are just getting over colds and cutting of 3rd tooth each so hopefully the next few days will be a bit better.

They are at a fantastic age. They are both crawling a bullet a gate and furniture walking. I dont think it will be too long till they are standing unassisted. They chase each other around the house and play hide and seek behind the furniture and kitchen cupboards, they are really quite funny. They are also at a really loving age where they just crawl up and lie on you for a hug or come up with the big open mouth wanting a kiss.

At the same time they are also very destructive. My house is covered in toys and have had to put locks on all doors and draws. They are into everything, so keep me on my toes.

We are having some problems with feeds as they are not too keen to try new things and hate lumps in their food, but we are persisting and hopefully it will pay off soon and they will be better eaters. They are great night sleepers which is fantastic, not too good during the day but getting better. Now up at 7.30 for b/fast bottle and at 9.30 (about 1hr sleep) lunch at 12 bottle and sleep at 1.30 (about 1 and 1/2 to 2 hrs), top up 1/2 bottle at around 4 then dinner at 6 and bottle and bed at 7 to 7.30. Then they are down for the night which is great as DH and I get to spend some time together. Havent had many nights recently that we have had to get up to them so we are all getting sleep and everyone are feeling much better.

Well that is my story, sorry for being so long.

Ali - can I ask when your two sat unaided? and when they crawled. Just wondering if my two are going to be late sitters and crawlers - or if suddenly it's all going to happen (they are 7 months old this weekend).

Julie

Julie - Jake sat around 6 months and Tayla 7 1/2 months. Jake crawled at 6 3/4 months Tayla commando crawled on her tummy at 7 1/2 months and has only just started to crawl on hands and knees in the last couple of weeks. Jake has been standing against furniture since about 8 months and Tayla only stood up against furniture 2 weeks ago.

Dont get too worried, Tayla didnt want to sit up at all and then one day she just did it on her own. She just used to roll around after Jake and then one day sat up. Was about the same time that she would commando slide after Jake.

Dont worry one day they will just do it.

I couldn't believe it when I started reading this thread and saw that others were going through the same things as I am. I have two adorable twin girls Chloe and Mia born 7th March.

They are now 4 1/2 months and I am still waiting for a full nights sleep. They are bolth rolling both ways but for some reason have forgotten how to roll from their tummy to their back at the moment, which is very annoying. They seem to everything around the same time, which is nice. Although Chloe is teething at the moment and I'm really gald they are not doing that together.

The hardest thing I am finding at the moment is that they don't have a very big attention span and get bored very easily, which keeps me very busy during the day...has anyone got any hints on what their babies seem to like to do??

Hope everyone is having a nice weekend

Welcome 2Bubbaa's!! Its lovely to meet you and glad this has helped just to relate to! My babies were also born in march!
Hayden and Brooklen love to be read to, go for walks, massages, baby einstein (van gough), Sitting outside in the sun gazing at the tree's, belly time, activity mat, flash cards.....in between all that they sleep! I love it when they are awake...I am the loony jumping around the lounge making them laugh! LOL

Thanks for that Hayfilfy, I am really happy today as Chloe slept through the night for the first time last night and Mia slept until 4am which was really great, so I got a really good night sleep. I just hopr it continues tonight. Fingers crossed.

Question????? I'm new to this discussion thing, how do you all post photo's extra. I would love to share a photo of my two girls.

Also what is Baby Einstein?? Sounds interesting.

Well we have had a good weekend, not. More like a weekend from hell.

Friday night getting ready for dinner putting DD in her high chair ready to eat and then heard an almightly scream from DS. At the time didnt know what he had done but worked out that he had put his hand on the hot oven door and burnt himself. Tried to calm him down and put hand under water and cool it down. Finally he fell asleep after an hour (I dont know who was crying more DS or myself, DD was also crying because DS was. DH was the only calm one in the house. Luckily!). Took him down to the local GP just to get it checked out. He said that it was a superficial burn and nothing very nasty, wrapped it up in a bandage and sent us home. DS slept through the night fine with no problems (me on the other hand slept with one ear open waiting for him to wake). Saturday went to GP again to get it redressed and he told me that the GP the night before had not done the correct thing (just what I wanted to hear) and did it his way. So came home and rang the burns unit at the Childrens Hospital who told us to bring him in just in case. So a trip to the Hospital Emergency 1 hour in waiting room and then 2 hours in the burns unit. They redressed it and we have to go in every two days to get the dressings changed. Thank God they also said that it is only a very minor burn and that he will be okay in a couple of weeks.

Apparently they see alot of oven and combustion heater burns, they are apparently common. It was amazing DH and I touched oven after DS had burnt himself and it was hot to touch but not enough to burn us, we had also had the discussion a couple of weeks ago and come to the conclusion that they would get a fright if they touched it but not burnt. Hospital said that childrens skin is very thin and burns extremely easily.

So that is the end of my yucky weekend. So this week we have trips to the burns unit. Poor little man.

Ali - I am so glad to hear that both yourself and Jake are ok now! That must have been very scary for you both. Poor little darling, We had our oven built in with some drawers underneath and your story has reinforced the importance of that. I hope that you get some sleep tonight, and the trips to the burns unit to change the dressings are short and painfree!

2Bubba's ~ baby einstein is a learning package that is aimed for babies and toddlers to assist in the development of basic skills. They are aids of course to get the parents involved with the children and a video series that shows colours, sounds, and all to the wonderful sounds of classical music. We have a few DVD's and CD's and Hayden and Brooklen just love it! (its driving me crazy but its not too bad LOL)

Hope you are all well ~ I will update tomorrow too tired tonight......

Hi guys,
I thought I would jump in here and join in on all the fun.
My little guys are 6 months and are on 3 solid feeds, breakfast, lunch and dinner. Both are little greedy guts and eat anything I give them. They have just started sleeping through the night (Yippee)
No teeth yet, but both have red cheeks and a rash around their mouths. What is this paw paw stuff and where can I get some ?
Khain seems to be developing quicker than Ryan, but we did expect this as Ryan was very sick when he was born and spent 3 1/2 weeks at the childrens hospital whereas Khain came home.
Im starting to get worried than Ryan still isnt rolling over yet. If I actually roll him onto his side he will roll onto his tummy but he just doesnt want to start rolling himself. Im just paranoid about all the drama's we had with him when he was born, he seems to have recovered but I cant help wondering in the back of my head if there is something wrong with him.
Sleep time is over, time for lunch.

Well been to burns unit again and Jake great, didnt cry at all when dressings changed. They even cut the blisters and he didnt cry at all. I couldnt watch! But all is good and he only has to go back next week to get checked out and hopefully get bandages off. So we are all good now, alot calmer about the matter.

Hailey - We also have our oven built in with drawers underneath it. He stood up with his hand over his head and just touched the bottom. It is amazing, you just dont think they can touch and then bam too late.

Must go bubs wakeing.

Hi Ladies
as you might have seen on my other thread Tiahna took her first steps yesterday. What a milestone. You just get so emotional. It seems that so much has happened in the last couple of weeks. They have learnt to wave, clap hands, stand unsupported and now take steps. This is happening way too quickly. I don't even want to blink antmore 'cause I might miss something.
ALI : I am so glad that everything is going well with your brave little man. It is so hard trying to baby proof everything but unfortunately I just do not think it is totally possible.
MEL : Hi Mel and welcome. Lucas Paw Paw. It is brilliant. You get it from the chemist. Don't stress about Ryan and his progress because all bubs as I'm sure you know develop at such different rates. My girls are and yes it did used to worry me but I am over that now and realise they are just better at different things. I thinbk the most important thing is just keep up with his tummy time because that will make him stronger than any other exercise and also reaching for toys in front of him. I love the photo of your boys
HAYLIE : do you find that some parts of the Baby Einsteine scare your bubs. My girls jump whenever the puppets pop up. LOL> But they do love it.

going out to lunch today with the family to Daddy's work so maybe today is Madelyn's turn to walk. Mmmmm think the floor is all brick. Probably not the safest place to start. LOL.
Hope you all have a wonderful day.

Jodi ~ yes the puppets scare Hayden!! The only thing that scares Brooklen is when it turns off LOL.....I can hear about it from the washing line LMAO.
Madelyn will walk soon enough ~ Little cherubs they are! Just lovely...

Mel ~ Welcome!!! 3 solids a day wow! That is great, it all happens so fast hey. You can get the Lucas Paw Paw ointment from the chemist or woolies/coles too I think. Great stuff I have almost used a tub in just 4 months LOL...

Ali ~ I am gald that it went well today! Ouch the adventurous little Jake could still get the oven! OMG I will have to get rid of the oven LMAO! I cant see that happening...I am glad he is getting better - and you sound much calmer too. Isnt it funny you can feel the persons emotions in their post!

Us ~ I took Hayden to the Dr last week as he has a click in his shoulders and they refered me for x-rays and ultra sounds of it....Well they couldnt tell what was wrong here so they sent the results to PMH and they suspect a dislocation of the shoulder (perhaps from birth?) The thing is he doesnt scream in pain or anything??? So I go back to the Dr for the results and he sent me for an emergency appointment with an orthopedic surgeon and guess what!!! There is nothing wrong....He said that he has never worked on nor seen a baby this small and just thinks whatever the click is will just go away....So now I am taking him for a 2nd opinion to the pead...(what a drama Mummy I am) LOL. Just because its unheard of doesnt mean Hayden doesnt have it does it? Anyway off to the pead in August to check it all out. (Surgeon didnt know but still slugged me $155)
Everything else going well ~ Multiple Meeting here today, it was great to get with the Kal multiple mums again. I love to chat to them all and they are all so cute! Do you guys all go to a MBA meeting in your area?

excuse me for crashing your thread...but I just wanted to say to Mel that I had the same thing with one of mine. Josie was less keen on entering the world and has always been a little slower to get moving - rolling, sitting, crawling etc. With the help of a physio we did a lot to encourage her movement with stretching, and encouraging her to roll and as Jodi said reaching for toys etc...it was marvellous, how quickly she improved. The physio just got us to push her a bit harder to get her to do things, made her work for it. IYKWIM. We also used a BUMBO seat to help improve her sitting and posture. They are great if they are having trouble with sitting.

There is very little difference in the girls now, both starting to take their first wary steps away from the furniture...OMG! And the funny thing is that Josie's vocab and speech is much better than Hannah's!

apologies for gatecrashing!

Hi girls

Thought i would join in... My boys are Aidan & Keenan and they are 5 months and 3 weeks old.. They are both rolling onto their sides - not their tummies yet, and they love being naked!! Keenan got two teeth through on the weekend and Aidan got one. They love lying together and they chatter to each other. They are great boys, love affection and very giggly.

They are on two solid feeds a day, and we are trying to introduce lunch, but it is a bit of a struggle, so for breakfast they have banana & pear and for dinner potato & pumpkin. They have 200mls of formula every 4 hours or so, and sleep from about 6pm to 6am. They get so tired that it is a struggle to keep them up past 5.30pm, but we are trying hard to keep them up. They sleep a fair bit through the day too - a few hours in the morning and a few in the afternoon. I am back at work, so finding it a struggle, but unfortunatley i have to, to pay the bills - as our boys were a big double surprise!

Here is a pic of the three of us on the weekend:

Anyhow this is a great idea for a thread, and it is good to know that there are other twin mums going through the same stuff!

Ali - glad to hear Jake is on the mend. My oven is really bad for heat emitting from it, when I have it on I have to keep the girls out of the kitchen.

Hayfilfy - thanks for the info on Baby Einstein, I will have to see if I can get hold of it.

Well all is a lot better in my house today, yesterday the girls where really unsettled. I couldn't get them to have a good nap during the day and they were just cat napping and crying most of the day no matter what I did, the only thing they enjoyed yesterday was nude time and swimming. I live in Darwin, so it is warm here.

But today is completely different, they are two very happy little girls, it is amazing how you have days like that for no reason.

I have a question???? Has anyone travelled on a plane with their babies. We are off to NZ in September and if anyone has any travel tips please let me know, I am dreading it.

anyway I better go I have a very restless girl on my lap, feed time. I have worked out how to post a photo, so
I will post one next time of my girls.

Hi girls!

Thought I might join in too! My boys were born on 10 June 2005 and are 6 weeks 5 days old. They are such good sleepers (touch wood). They had a 7 hour gap between feeds in their first week home! We woke and looked at the clock and couldn't quite believe it. They are usually on 4 hour feeds during the day (I am breastfeeding) but most times we have to wake them at 4 hours in the day - now I have written this, they are stirring so I have to head off to feed....will update soon.....and will read everyone's posts...looking forward to getting to know you all!!!

Thanks everyone for your positive comments about Ryan's development. Im sure every thing is fine & he is just a bit slower developing but im sure its only natural to worry.
Rach - OMG your back at work !!! Im still on maternity leave and we are currently trying to do the maths & see if its worth me going back (2 lots of child care plus before & after school care for my 5 year old -ouch). Are you using child care or are you lucky enough to have someone to look after your boys for you ?
I have brought some Lucas Paw paw and have just put it on both the boys, thanks for the tip.
One quick question - Any tips on how to keep them entertained ? It just seems so much harder with 2 and sometimes I am finding it a struggle to keep them amused

Mel - we actually have a girl who looks after the boys in our house for only $600 a fortnight, which is MUCH cheaper than childcare. She is fantastic, adores the boys and loves the arrangement. We could not afford to pay $1000 a fortnight minimum which is what childcare costs are here. YOur boys are so cute - they seem to be like mine, really happy, smiley boys.

I love looking at the pics of all the bubs because they are all just gorgeous.

Hi ladies
Isabel & Jessica are over their colds and were fine with their next lot of injections. I debated whether or not to take them - since they were a bit sniffly on the day - but all was ok. I'm also getting better at coping with their injections!
Isabel rolled for the first time from tummy to back the other day. I got all excited and set up their play-pen, but she has decided she doesn't need to do it again! Jessica is getting a tooth and gnawing on anything she can get her hands on.
I had my 'twins group' at my place yesterday (a group of people from my MBA who wanted to get together each week). It's great, the twins all range in age from 4 months to 21 months and I get to see what child-proofing my house needs!!
I'm thinking about swimming lessons too - my singleton mother's group take their babies swimming for fun at the local pool each week. Unfortunately it happens to be at the same time as my twins group. Is it better to wait until a bit older for actual lessons?

Hello!
Thought I'd join in as I have just set up the baby monitor next to the PC and can now come online while the bubs are sleeping!

My boys, Jamie and Lachlan, are idential 8 1/2 month old, very busy babies! They have both been crawling for about a month now and cruising around on the furniture. Things were fun before, but now we can REALLY play with them, and have a lot of fun with a bit of hide and seek and follow the leader with me on the floor with them!

I haven't read through all of the other posts, but will start trying to keep up. Looking forward to sharing tales of our bubs

Welcome Tracy, Lachlan & Jamie!!!That sounds like such fun hide and seek!!

Jodi - How are you and the precious Madelyn and Tiahna today?

Lisa I am glad your girls are feeling better and you now have the immunisations out of the way (for a while anyway!) Hayden and Brooklen are now sleeping exhausted from their swimming lessons and I think that its a great age to get them used to the water. They really like it and love the praise they get LOL

Rach - sounds like you guys have a great arrangement there with the in home care...what a bargain for you! Look after that girl *LOL*

Julie - Emma and Brandon are so cute!!! OMG they are growing fast too OMG! I adore the little hats Hayden and BRooklen cry until I take the beanies off LOL

Melz77- Hoping the paw paw ointment goes well for you!

Drew - glad you found us lovie! I am dying to see a pic of your cherubs! What good bubba's you have there! Keep up the good work.

Ali - How are you and how is Jake going?

Anna - Chloe and Mia are just divine! How happy they are in the pram there - looks like my two in the stroller they love it too (I think because the jogegr pram has the cover over it and the stroller doesnt - Brooklen is so nosey!!! LOL) Would you like a copy of one of the B/Einstein discs first to see that your girls like it?? Like Madelyn & Taihna they may get scared of the puppets LOL?

Us - Today i went to an 'introducing solids' workshop and it was great, scary but great! I think I am ready to tackle that as it happens! LOL
We also had another swimming lesson today and let me tell you I was so not ready for them to go under and swim under the floating mat and come out the other side! The other ladies said the look on my face was priceless (i almost cried for Hayden and Brooklen but they didnt!)

We have such a busy weekend planned and I am not sure how to fit all our activities in to 2 days! OMG
Hoping you are all well - I will upload a pic of me with Hayden and Brooklen swimming
Edited to add pic ~

Haylie - how cute is that pic! The pic alone has convinced me to try the swimming lessons original.gif

As for Baby Einstein, my girls LOVE the Neptune one, so I think Susie O'Neil & Petria Thomas here we come!

I can't wait to take Emma and Brandon swimming - not keen on doing it on my own - but when we go on holidays in a few weeks, they will go swimming for the first time.

I've often wondered about the baby Einstein too - but it's pricey if they hate it. Have to stick to Hi 5, and wiggles, etc here!

Just a quick pop in and update. Glad everyone is well and welcome to our newbie's. Look forward to seeing you on the Thread. Haylie I love the photo. We were due to start swimming this week but cant due to Jake so will have to leave it a couple of months.

Well what a week - Started with Jake burning his hand on Friday night, he is okay has a 7 day bandage on now and will be fine. Poor bub is just getting a bit frustrated with things and Tayla is taking advantage of it and taking things off him. So within 36 hours of us being at the Hospital with Jake the twins came down with Gastro (I think they got it from the hospital) so 5am Tues Tayla woke and diahorea (spell??) and was totally covered including bed so in the bath she went and then at 6am Jake woke with same. Poor bubs had fluid coming from both ends by Tues night and would not take any fluid in at all and were getting a bit dehydrated so off the the Hospital we go again. They admitted us and kept pumping fluid into them to rehydrate them and also try to get the fever down. I demanded that we be released at 11pm as they were so exhausted and just crying and wanted their beds (Hosp didnt like this but tough!) came home and they are slowly on the mend. No more vomitting just diahorea.

Twins and Gastro just dont mix. I have not stopped washing for three days straight. And, the nappy bill! We are going through a packet a day, wow!

So that is my winge, well another, for the week. I have ordered a better week next week so we will see it brings, well I suppose it can only go up. Hope so as DH is away for a couple of days for work.

Going for an early night, hopefully wont get any yucky wake up calls.

Take care all

Ali

Great to hear the goings on of everyone.

Ali - sorry to hear about all your drama's...hopefully you are through the worst of it now and that everyone is on the mend.

Hayfilfy - great swimming photo...my girls love the water as well. I take them for a swim most days...except even up here in Darwin I have to add a bit of warm water to their paddling pool as it is a bit cold for them. I also look forward to starting swimming lessons with them. Thanks for the offer of the Baby Einstein but I am happy to get one myself, I have looked it up on the internet and it looks very good.

Mel - I have the same problem with keeping them entertained but have found just in the last week that they are doing more of that themselves. As long as I am close by they are happy to play by themselves. I also went out and got them walkers, I have read all the info on them but they help just to give me a bit of time. I watch them while they are in them and limit the amount of time they are in them. They also love singing, so I sing to them a lot (they are the only ones who don't mind my off tune singing). But it is hard but I have been assured by other twin mums that it gets easier.

Lisa - when were your twins born?? Mine were born on the 7th March, they must be close in age to mine. My Chloe is also getting a tooth, which has been coming up and down for the last 3 weeks. I can't wait until it finally comes through. I know what you mean about them doing something one day and then not doing it again. My two were rolling from tummy to back from 3 months and then at 4 months starting to roll from back to tummy...they then forgot how to roll from their tummy to their back, so I had to roll them over all the time....they are slowly getting over that now.

Welcome Tracey...can't wait to hear more about Jamie and Lachlan

Talk to you all soon..babies waking.

Julie ~ Oh darls!!! I am in WA and there is a twin Mum that attends our MBA meeting and she is acessing the red cross volunteer for the 4 hours + a week and she is wonderful for her. I am told it is for the first 12 months only and the volunteer will contact you once you have been linked IYKWIM...theu dont cook or clean just give you time to sleep, eat, go to town what ever really. I have not enquired as I seem to have many willing helpers (?) and have not required the extra hands as yet. Give your local red cross a call and see. Can anyone else confirm??? I HTH - possibly just see what they say about it.

hello all you lovely ladies. Hope you all had a wonderful weekend. We had such a busy weekend. Have decided not to sell the car now!!!! so glad because I hate shopping for cars! Looked at heaps of blinds and taps (lol) for our new house. we go to prestart hopefully this week but more likely next week. I am so excited. We went and drove to our block which is about 40minutes from where we are. I can't believe we drive there every week. Humans are a funny race! we let the girls out and play in the dirt at the block. We still can't believe it is ours!!! yeh!!!

I love all the gorgeous pics of your beautiful bubs. My cousin had their beby two days ago. I am getting way to clucky. I think I better go and lock myself in the shed so DH can't find me. LOL. He is so ready but am I??????

well must go and feed my little munchkins.
Haylie : GO THE MIGHTY TIGERS!!!!!!!

hope you all have a great day

Interested to see if anyone else has heard re the REd Cross giving help. I don't really need it - prehaps when they were younger. We cope ok on our own. I just don't get any me time (nor do my hubby and I get any us time).

Good evening all. Glad to see everyone is well.

Well we are all over Gastro which is great. It was not a pretty week at all. But the twins are back to normal which is fantastic. DH still feeling a bit flat but he is away for work for a couple of days so I dont have to listen to the winging, Yeah! LOL.

Went to Target today and they have alot of their Winter stock out on sale for ridiculous prices so I got most of the twins wardrobe for next winter and saved an absolute packet, it was great. They also have their current summer stock on sale from this Thursday (got flyer today) so I will be back their again next week to pick up some more, DH is away again all next week so he wont even know. LMAO.

As for the Red Cross help, I had not heard anything about this at all. I heard that you can get help through MBA but it is on the assumpution that you will repay the favour. I have not needed any help as yet as DH is fantastic and my parents are only 15 minutes away. I also dont think I could leave them with strangers, I feel guilty leaving them with my Mum or even DH. I know it is silly but it just feels strange. I know I am insane!

Take care

Ali
