Weird question but here goes!

I am looking to get a Maclaren stroller 2nd hand as well as a pram. Anyway a nice one has come up on eBay but I am not sure if it has now gotten to too much.It finishes in 1 day and 19 hours in Melbourne. Has a slightly broken hood if you wanted to look at which one it is.

I have gone to $120, but been outbid.

How much would you pay for a secondhand Maclaren Twin?

Thanks!

Cat,

I have the McLaren and bought it new for about $500, is has served us well, but is now a bit trashed. I probably wouldn't pay more than $150 for it as long as it is in good condition, I wouldn't worry about the broken hood bit. I wouldn't pay much more than that because it is a back up pram, not your main one.

Just my opinion.

Good luck.

Cheers

Hi There,

There are two types of twin strollers by Mclaren. One is more $$$ than the other one. The basic one can be pciked up for around $380, while the dearer one is around the $500 and comes with foot muffs and things.

I would say around the $150 mark for a second hand one. I'd check out how much it might be to fix the hood (I recently had mine replaced under warranty, cos it broke from an over exhuberent toddler having a tantrum - but it didn;t cost me anything!)
