So DH and I have had these names picked out for ages now:
Girl - Kaelan Hope
Boy - Noah David
But lately it seems like Noah is everywhere. While I don't mind a common name, I'm thinking that it's starting to get a big too common for us.
So far the only other boy's name that we've been able to come up with that we both like is Beau.
Can anyone suggest anything else that we might like?
We still want the middle name to be David and last name starts with W.
Thanks!!!!
Al

Noah David is a gorgeous combo and I would leave it as is. Or how about Caelan for a boy? I really don't like Beau at all.
Other suggestions:

Hamish David
Luke/Lucas/Luca David
Jonah/Jonas David
Quinn David
Marcus David
Connor David
Callum David
Timothy David
Oscar David

Noah kind of transcends popularity for me and it may have plateaued anyway. Noah David as a combo would be hard to better.
I like Beau too though it seems very different in style from Noah.

Thanks Guys.... there's definitely a couple in there I'll have to put to DH!! I'm still in love with Noah though... so it will definitely be kept on the cards for now.
lovin it - we are still up in the air and playing around with the final spelling of Kaelan. DH want's to stay away from it ending in "lin" or "lyn" and I like it starting with a K. But there's still a few options to choose between.
fifi-trixibelle - I had to laugh. We obviously have very similar "taste" when it comes to names. You would not believe how many of those names we have talked about but can't have for one reason or another (mainly other people getting there first

). Even our dog's name is in the list (which I have actually said to DH I wish we didn't call her that now as I actually like it as a boy's name!!)

Noah has become popular of late, but I still only know one under 5.
Kaelan/Caelan is a boys name, so I would probably try to look for something more feminine for a girl.

What about Nate?
Erm isn't Kaelan a boys name?

It's one of DS's best friends little brothers name.

I too think Caelan would be a great option as a boys name as well. I do love Noah, and it was on our list for a little while, but I know of two aquaintences who have used the name recently, and it's too much for me personally.

Kaelan is just a different way of spelling Cailin - which is traditionally a Gaelic girl's name and actually means "girl" or "lass". I think over the years it has become a unisex name, as I have heard of one boy with that name.
I originally heard this name when I was 17 - a band called Unwritten Law wrote a song called Cailin. The lead singer wrote it for his daughter who had that name and I've loved it ever since.

I wholeheartedly back Kaelan for a boys name. For obvious reasons!

The baby name book we had said it was a variant of Kellan. But I've read a lot of different backgrounds for the name and it's meaning.

What about Noam, like Noam Chomsky? It also has the happy advantage of sounding better with David. IMHO Noah David sounds a bit weird, like you have just rounded up the first two names you saw in the Old Testament.
Kaelan Hope is nms.

I think it needs to be Kaelyn if you want it to be distinctly feminine, but if you're happy with unisex then I guess Kaelan is ok. I'd go with Kaelyn if it were me.

I love Noah. Really not a fan of Beau.
What about Jonah, Jonas, Owen, Rowan.
