Hi all,

Looking for MN suggestions for Lola!

MN for DD2 was always going to be Lucy after my sister, but Lola Lucy aint gonna work!

Whole family has double MNs so I'll probably stick with this.

As Lola is quite a sassy name I'm looking for something quite traditional and feminine to balance it out a bit I guess.

Any suggestions will be v helpful!

Thanks biggrin.gif

I thought Marie or May. original.gif

There is a book by Jacqueline Wilson called Lola Rose, and that was the first thing that jumped into my head when I read that suggestion. So maybe don't do that. Lola May is a really good balance. Lola Marie sounds too French. Don't go with a French middle name unless you have a connection of some sort.

Lola Belinda
Lola Teresa
Lola Katherine/Catherine
Lola Katrina/Catriona
Lola Fiona

Of the suggestions so far I really like:
Lola Jane
Lola Mae (or May, but I prefer it with an e with Lola)

Did you say your family has double middle names, as in 2? So it would be:
Lola Jane ...
Lola Mae ...

If so, that's a tricky one!

Best of luck. Lola is a beautiful name, as I'm sure your little girl will be. x

Lola is right up there on our list, we have Louise picked for a middle name. I like the two "l" sounds together although some may not.

Otherwise I like Lola Mae the most and have considered this combo too.
Sarie
Lola Grace Lucille
Lola Natalie Ann
Lola Elizabeth Marie
Lola Rebecca Lee
Lola Renee Isabelle

I didn't realise you wanted two middle names because the people who posted before me only gave one. If you want to use Lucy how about Lola then another name, then Lucy? A lot of the names I've suggested already can probably work with this.

Things like:
Lola Emmeline Lucy
Lola Harriet Lucy
Lola Charlotte Lucy
Lola Scarlett Lucy
Lola Madeleine Lucy
Lola Katherine Lucy
Lola Elizabeth Lucy
Lola Annabelle Lucy
Lola Genevieve Lucy
Lola Sophia Lucy
Lola Hannah Lucy
Lola Alice Lucy
Lola Beatrice Lucy
Lola Isabelle Lucy
Lola Claudia Lucy
Lola Yasmin Lucy
Lola Imogen Lucy

ETA I think I've got a couple there that I didn't suggest before but there are plenty of others in my original list that would work with Lucy after them.
