Hi Ladies,

I'm 21 weeks now with twins.
Up til 5 days ago had not had any incidence of spotting at all.
But now each morning have a very light pink tint of colour through my first mucuous of the morning. (usually within about 1/2 hr of waking & being vertical). No red blood - just pink staining and none furthur on in the day. No pain.

Have been to OB and had my cervix checked out. All is well and he says not to be worried - but you do don't you?!
I was just wondering how many other twin mums here may have had the same thing and if anything came of it - did you continue on to close to term or were there complications??

Any info would be nice
Cheers

Hi Liz

I experienced something very similar- first noticed it at about 26 weeks, and to be honest it was so faint that I would not have noticed at all if it was not for the white undies. You are right though, I was of course a bit worried! Have had it on and off throughout the rest of my pregnancy and my ob said the same thing- nothing to worry about. It is apparently just due to the pressure of having such a heavy uterus bearing down on the cervix. The vessels secrete a tiny amount of blood because of this pressure, but no harm done. I have had no complications at all (touch wood!).

Cheers
Lindy

Ditto to what lindys said. Happen to me but was told not to worry. All was fine with my twins.
