Well Rhiannon if you don't have high blood pressure or a heart condition now you soon will! Watching the havoc twins can create will certainly raise your blood pressure at times...but then watching them kiss, hold hands and comfort each other will make your heart burst with joy!
Congratulations on your twin pregnancy, looking forward to getting to know you better over the coming months!

Congrats and welcome Rhiannon, I'm impressed by how quickly your announcement made it to EB! Its a bit of a surreal time when you first find out isn't it? Once you get over the shock and have loads of questions make sure you ask them - don't forget to add yourself to the summary post at the top.

Thank you all for your warm welcomes original.gif I can see what a lovely bunch you are and i have only been in multiples for a little while.

I look forward to getting to know you all and im sure i will have plenty of questions...i cant think of any right now but my partner has one about identical twins. He wants to know if you can find out the gender of identical twins cos for some reason..he cant think why...he doesnt think that you can find out the gender of identical twins.I told him im sure you can...it would be the same as looking at fraternal twins except identical twins have the same placenta.
If anyone can answer that it would be good so that i can tell DP if he is right or im right original.gif

Hi Rhiannon Congratulations on your exciting twin news.
You can tell DH that yes you can find out the sex of identical twins!!!
I found the determining of identical and fraternal a bit messy though!!! But I didn't have a scan to late in my pregnancy. Even after the birth we were never given an answer, it was wait and see. Some of the more experienced twin mums may be able to help you out more.

Good luck looking forward to getting to know you over the next exciting months.
