Hello again. I was talking to a twin mum recently who advised against a 3 wheeler pram (my understanding was that they're lighter, and as my husband uses crutches or a wheelchair, pushing it is going to be my problem!)

She said that they're OK when the twins are tiny, but when they get older, they "bounce" around a bit and can unbalance the pram.

I've read the Pram advice pinned at the top- I just wanted to hear specifically from parents of bouncing crawlers!

(BTW Our 15/40 scan is tomorrow (fingers crossed no TTTS!) We're hoping to find out the flavour. Someone said to me the other day "I bet you're hoping for one of each!" Um, no- they're identical- that would be a bit of a problem!!!)

If three wheelers were such a problem, they would not be so popular. Every twin parent I know has one
good luck.

I have one & I STILL use it. I LOVE it & I would recommend one. They turn around very easily & I had no prob's with it at all.

Goodluck for your scan.

Hi Christie, Firstly congratulations to yourself and DH on your twin pregnancy.
I have the Valco Twin Runabout which has two wheels at the back and two at front in the middle where singles have one wheel. My twins are 81/2 months old and have not had any problems with it being unsteady at all. We love it as it is easy to push around and turns on a dime. The only problem is that it doesnt fold down very small and thus you need a big car.
With regard to the identical comments. We have girl/boy twins and are constantly being asked 'are they identical?' or 'gee how do you tell the difference?' or the best one 'are they siamese?' I could not help but burst into laughter at this one. I even had a woman asked me at the top of her lungs in a busy shop if I had they vaginally and am I breast feeding. It is amazing what you will be asked.
Good luck and all the best.

They are called jogger prams and I used to laugh at that but when its raining and you have the run home - they hold the road really well - and stable My god....Very good prams all round.

Also the same on the comments as Ali too! Not the vaginal qustions but all the others....dont get me started...LOL

The Mountain Buggy Urban Double also has two wheels at the front and two at the back (although the single has 3 wheels) - we've always found it very stable.
