Hi all,
just wondering if anyone knows about or has one of those huge foam cushions for b/f twins? I saw women using one on a video in antenatal class, but they didn't tell you where to get one (duh!)

I have seen the boomerang/ v-shapes/ zoo pillows, but this one was much bigger and firmer, like a square 'U' shape, and really high off your thighs so no bad backs.

One baby each side and they were reading magazines in the middle like on a little table (think it may be while before I am that confident!)

Any one got one/ know where to get one? Or should I just go to a foam place and try to get one cut?

Try contacting your state's Multiple Birth Association, or the Australian Multiple Birth Association perhaps.

I just hapened to be browsing this forum and read your msg.

I know exactly what it is your talking about. A friend of mine with twins had one. I don't know if she got it throught the hospital where she had them (The SAN in Syd) or through the MBA. I will ask her when I speak to her next and get back to you.

HTH's!

Mad.

Hi Double blessing

Yes, I know exactly what you mean. I am using one and it is great! I hired mine from the multiple births association. It cost $20 to hire and you can keep it as long as you like and you get the $20 back when you return it.

If you want to buy your own, you can have Clark Rubber make one for you. Once you go to a Expectant Parents night, MBA give you a booklet which has the dimensions on it as well as a pattern to make a cover. I am sure you can call MBA and ask for the pattern. I think they are about $70 to $100 to have one made.

Good luck!

No, I don't think it's the 'my brest friend' one. I have one of those and it was way too small for twins. I ended up just using piles of pillows and now feed separately.

Hope you find what you need.

Hi There

I went to an antenatal evening run by my local multiple birth assoc. They have a pattern for & sell their own & they are huge & it sounds just like the one you have described. Even if your not a member of your local MBA, then I doubt they would mind if you called them & asked them if they had one for sale

Cheers, Lilymurray

Hi, as per other posters try your MBA. I got a pattern from the lactation consultant in hospital and had one made up a Clark Rubber - never used it though. I found a normal V-pillow worked better for me. I think I was too little for it!
