Thanks Fifi happy.gif Well it's definitely a front runner then. I'm not ready to give up on Ivy Juliet just yet though as I really really love it, but Raphaela is beautiful too, and a plus that DH already likes it grin.gif Will show him all the others too, surely he has to agree to something?! Lol.

I love Juliet but was overruled so instead we have an Ivy Miranda. I would push for Juliet failing that I like the 'a' endings for middle names.
~Lila~
Oh loubee I love Miranda! Unfortunately DH does not rolleyes.gif I suggested it as a first name and got the old N-O. He is incredibly fussy! Will keep Ivy Juliet at the top of the list though hehe grin.gif
Peanut
Ivy Louise sounds pretty!
Monroe
N, fifi has thrown in some beautiful suggestions wub.gif
I hope that B comes around with Juliet though, if not Raphaela sounds beautiful with Ivy.
~Lila~
Thanks lovely, was hoping you'd pop in as I know you'd give me your honest opinion wub.gif Hoping B comes around to Juliet too wub.gif It just seems 'right' lol. You don't think Ivy Raphaela is too much with our surname though?
Ahhh at least we're having a discussion, hooray for that laughing2.gif Baby might just end up with a name after all lol.

Elizabeth.

Seriously I can't think of anything with Ivy to rival Juliet. There's something about that combo that it is just meant to be. If him indoors/outdoors can warm to Ivy I would just wait for him to announce that he has warmed to Juliet as well.

Snap. DH wouldn't hear of Juliet or Miranda as first or second names but when she was unexpectedly delivered on the bathroom floor, he missing it by minutes he was happy with whatever I wanted. biggrin.gif

I like Ivy May.

I like a single syllable middle name. And you said your surname was longish?

But I also think Ivy Juliet is beautiful.
Oldy11
The first name that came to mind when I saw the topic was Ivy Leigh

That's it from me - I can't compete with the long list of gorgeous names already suggested!! original.gif

Me too. First names that came to mind were Ivy Clare and Ivy Jane. Also like Ivy May.
Sarie
Ivy Marie
Ivy Kate
Ivy Harriet
Ivy Clementine
Ivy Delilah
Hairy Maclary
I like Ivy May, but I've got a thing about May as a middle name at the moment ......
If you have a long surname, I think a one syllable middle name would be perfect original.gif
~Lila~
Thanks so much for all your help and suggestions ladies!

I totally agree grin.gif It just feels 'right' to me, I can't explain it. (No doubt we will probably have a boy now lol.) I'm definitely not ready to cross it off the list though! Fingers crossed DH just all of a sudden comes around to it like he did with DD's name (even if it was last minute!).

oomg.gif Wow so that's what it might take?! Not sure if I'm THAT dedicated tongue.gif What an amazing birth story though! wub.gif

I do agree that Ivy May 'flows' well...but I'm really not a fan of May blush.gif I do like Grace but it's just SO popular as a mn, I also like Pearl and Jewel but think they both sound funny with Ivy, like it's a precious stone made of Ivy laughing2.gif

Plenty of fantastic suggestions though, thank you! Getting DH to agree is the hard part though rolleyes.gif lol.

My daughter is Ivy Milla. We also had Clementine and Willow as possible middle names.

I've actually seen your sig before and think your daughters name is stunning wub.gif Unfortunately our surname sounds like Milla, so it wouldn't work for us sad.gif I also think your son's name is gorgeous, both Elliot and Jude are on our list too!

Louise is MIL's name so that could be an option, but in all honestly I don't really *love* the name, and DD doesn't have a family name as her middle name so were just going to give this bub it's own first and middle name too original.gif

And I agree that Ivy Rose is pretty happy.gif But am trying to avoid another flower/nature name for the mn as I think it sounds odd with Ivy as a first name iykwim? unsure.gif

Thannks again for the suggestions, they're helping alot! x
Faerie Contrary
Thanks! I'm quite taken with it too. biggrin.gif It's funny, with both my kids we'd decided on their first name only and went into the birthing suite with a list of middle names to choose from.

My beautiful sig is now almost 3 years old! I can't believe my baby is 3 next month ohmy.gif Guess I should make a new one? laughing2.gif
