My favourite Play School moment is Alex & Jay at the grocers singing "I've got a lovely bunch of coconuts" - hilarious! He is one of my favourite presenters.

He is great! I was so pleased that he was one of the presenters when we went to see the most recent Play School concert. I am pretty sure all of the other mums were happy too!

This was definitely hilarious. Off to see if I can find it on youtube, I could use the laugh!

I love it when Frank and Roo are on together - It's like they ran away from Summer Bay together to the big smoke.
City/country mouse it great - one of my faves.

I met Alex once, I used to know his parents. He's lovely. Sadly, the Frank mullet is long gone.

I met him too, many years ago, when we were both teens, and he went to an acting workshop I also did (I wanted to be an actress back then, didn't everyone, lol). I agree, he was absolutely charming, very gentle and sweet, and very SHY.

I have also met Alex, somewhere between Home & Away and Playschool I guess he was short of work and was using his acting skills to do customer service training. He and another actor spent the day taking me and my 6 customer service colleagues through various roleplays, it was great fun, and he was lovely.
I love him on Playschool too

LOL. My partner and I were having this conversation today. Alex is SO our favourite boy (love him as the stepmother in the Playschool concert Cinderella) and of course Justine (though Essie gets points from both of us just for sheer gorgeousness

).

Wow I didn't know that Justine Clark was Roo. I remember her from Home and Away as a teenager watching from the UK all those years ago. I didn't make the connection - just thought of her as a playschool singer.

As much as I adore Justine Clarke (I became a fan after I watched Look Both Ways) I do prefer the new Georgie Parker version of Roo. Completely different character.

I also get a great giggle out of Rhys singing "Everybody love fruit and vegetable" in full accent too. Its funny how little snippets of our kids shows can give us as much of a laugh as the kids enjoy the show!

Although this isn't Alex Papps, it's Rhys Muldoon, this is also funny:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VVqij7EOxq8I think Rhys can be really good in the stories.
