Did anyone else bleed in their pregnancies and go on to have healthy babies?
Any stories will help.
I am so, so scared.

Hi Cat ~ I can imagine that you are very frightened at this time...please try to relax as much as you can. I had bleeding at 10 weeks also and it was the scariest drive to the hospital ever. When I got there and a few internals, ultrasound and some deep breaths later it was old blood that had ruptured behind the sack of one of the babies. The old blood was making its way out and It had no effect on the babies or me (just my sanity!) I was told to take it easy and rest up for the next few days and all was well. We now have Hayden and Brooklen here to admire & Cherish....
This is obviously a TMI question and gross but it is bright red blood or brownish in colour? Old blood is the brownish discharge. If it makes you feel better go up to your local hospital and get checked out (i know its Sunday) If for anything a peice of mind.
Will be waiting anxiously for some news - we are all here for you Cat. try to keep positive and remain as calm as you can (easier said than done I know)....hugs to you lovie

Praying so hard things will be alright for you Cat.
I had bleeding at 17wks and a lot of it, it was bright coloured and I was scared silly but it turned out to be from me and not Squirt. Try to stay positive, which is a bit a of joke as you are just so terrified.
I know I only have the one on board, am 22wks now. But I hope with all my heart that it is ok for you.
Cheers Kylie

Hi Cat
A friend of mine bled during her pregnancy for several weeks in the early days (up until about 12 weeks from memory). She said it was as though she was having a period the whole time. Her baby was born perfectly healthy, despite all of the stress it caused her at the time. Hope that all is well for you too.
Take care
Lindy

For your own piece of mind go and see the Dr and have an ultrasound to check. You will be constantly worried until you do. If you have cramping with it I would go to the hospital 1st.
I have had 3 pregnancies with bleeding for no known cause and gone on to deliver healthy bubs. I know they were all singletons but just letting you know it doesn't always mean doom and gloom.
There are several reasons for bleeding and lots of unknown ones.

Hang in there Cat, I am sure you are scared to death right now but the best thing you can do is relax, or if you haven't already go and see your Dr. I know you have scan booked in for Monday anyhow.
You didn't say whether your bleeding is heavy, bright blood, dark blood etc so it's hard to make a guess but do rest assured many many women bleed during pregnancy and go on to have healthy babies. Until you see a Dr you just won't know so try to keep off your feet and see if that helps.
Please know we are here for you and are thinking of you.

Hi Cat,
You poor thing, I hope things have settled down now, it is always very scary having any kind of bleeding.
I bled twice while carrying Oacar and Brodie. Once at 8 weeks and again at about 20 weeks.
The first time was very much brown blood, and what the dr called old blood. The second time was red. Both times it settled throughout the day, and there was no real cause.
Take care and try and relax, though I know it is very hard to do. I hope by now it has either stopped or you have been and had it checked out.
But just to let you know I am thinking of you.

I know you have an ultrasound coming up tomorrow, but if you're anything like me, you won't sleep tonight. I would front up to the ER tonight, if you are still stressing. Just present there, they'll probably do an ultrasound if you are really worried.
EVERYTHING crossed, hoping so much that all is well with those sweet babies.

Hi Cat,
I had bleeding at around 10 weeks and then again at 15 weeks. It's really is very scary. In my case I was told the best and pretty much only thing I could do was rest. I had my girls at 34 weeks, and they're almost 3 and a half now. So, hopefully you're experiencing something similar and all will be fine. It's good that you have your U/S tomorrow though, hopefully it will give you some comfort. Good luck!
Ana.

Thanks for your support guys.
I am so relieved to have seen the little munchkins. I think they just like to make my life difficult. A little scary about if they are causing me this much stress now what will they do when they are here! ;p
I am breathing much happier tonight and will probably sleep.
Thanks again.
