Hi all, I just spent the day at the zoo with my husband and 3 kids and we had a wonderful time. I used to look at the other families wandering around the zoo and imagine how much fun it would be with my kids one day- and now it is! Mind you... the first few times we visited the zoo it was hard work at times. But our boys have grown up so much and it was just lovely to walk around today and share their excitement. I'm very lucky that my husband had time to come with us to the zoo before going to work for a late shift. Just wanted to share our fun day with you all.
Cheers, Maycee original.gif

Thanks for sharing your outing! I would love to be able to visit the zoo with my girls...unfortunately we don't have a zoo in Tassie, a few wildlife parks and that's it. I love the zoo!!!! Have been a couple of times pre family days. It would be nice to go back again.ü

Thanks for Sharing Maycee! Its really nice to read of what other people are up to. Nice time to go to the Zoo also not too cold yet. Dont you love when you look back on an outing and just think "that was so great!" I am sure the boys loved it and will talk about all the animals for the next few days. they will hound you to take them back there! LOL

Our nearest Zoo is 600km's drive - but we have loads of bush with wildlife to make up for it wink.gif

Twinmomma (sharyn) I was born in Tasmania! We are looking very forward to a holiday there....A bit cold at the moment though cool.gifo:

Hi guys, I was born in Tassie too! We just returned from a 3 week holiday staying at Hawley and Hobart to visit all our friends and family there. No zoo trips but lots of fun (rugged up!) at the beach, the Tasmazia maze, a Derwent River catamaran cruise and the Don River Railway etc. We all love Tassie and we have terrific holidays there... although my husband and I come home exhausted!
Cheers, Maycee
