Good Evening to you all......

We have just had the best day today and I feel like the happiest Mum!! I thought I would share what I love about this stage of Hayden and Brooklen's life ~
The beautiful Smiles are not just wind related! they are reaction smiles...and they mean it
Their individual personality traits are really showing through
They are now very aware that they have each other...priceless looks on their faces
they are cheeky enough already to make a whimper as you walk away from them
I appreciate every minute of my day
I love the sea of Pink/Blue and fluro colours on the washing line oh and the smell of the washing!
They actually like getting in/out of the bath now and that baby smell - ohhhhh
The car/pram/stroller are cool to sleep in too!!
You can get changed 10 times a day from the dribble and spew marks on your clothes!
they loved to be cuddled and hugged but, love to be handed back to their Mum/Dad and Big sister!!!
The goo's and the gaa's to us and each other twin communication
Also Luckily for me they sleep really well..

~the Wonderful Mums in here always said its amazing being a mum to twins/multiples and you were all right, its amazing and I am glad it's me!~
Just thought I would Share.....Must be a hormonal overload day for me LOL

I love the double cutie smiles and four legs and four arms jiggling in excitement when you go to pick them up from bed even when it is at 5 am and the 4th time for that night (which fortunately doesn't happen that often) I also love seeing the two sleeping babies, babies are way cute when they are sleeping and when there are two its two cubed as cute.

...I was hanging out a bit of washing this morning and there were two little faces staring out the window and two big smiles and four little arms waving to me. it made me all warm and gooey!

Glad to hear you are enjoying being a Mum!!!

My two love to hold hands at the moment Olivia asked for her seat to be moved next to Ambers in the car so they could hold hands when we are driving... and they both say cuddle cuddle and give each other a huge hug until they both fall over.. It's so funny to watch... Cheers Rebecca

With 2 toddlers it can be hard some days to find things to love about it - but right now I'm loving that the girls are starting to talk - new words and sounds every day. And they're so pleased with themselves, too! This morning Harriet said "toast" - it was so clear I wondered if she's been having me on and she can talk already LOL. Eleanor's new word in the weekend was "hey". She liked the sound of that so all weekend we had Eleanor saying "hey, hey, hey, hey" and Harriet practising "Mumma, Dadda, Nana" over and over. Some day soon I'll be wishing for quiet but right now I'm looking forward to them having some more words so that they might give up pointing and squealing at everything they like the look of!! I don't know how long our eardrums can stand the double squeal.

The other thing I'm loving is that they are right into doing the actions to songs and nursery rhymes. We do little "concerts" for Daddy with me singing and the girls doing the actions (The Wiggles Rock a bye your bear is a big favourite). The things we do when we have kids!

We love 'Rock-a-bye your bear' here too!

After a shocking couple of weeks with colds and related whining, we are having a great time too at the moment. original.gif Favourite twin moments are all the kissing and cuddling each other - especially until they fall over, its hilarious. They had their first really good game of chasey this morning which was lovely to watch (and listen to - oh those giggles). And on the weekend, Hannah called Paige 'Sissy'! Tooo cute original.gif original.gif

Oh, and at the supermarket this morning some dancy song came over the speakers and both girls simultaneously started doing shoulder shimmies in the trolley! They are such little groovers.

Thank you for bringing things into perspective! I have been so preoccupied with the day-to-day 'stuff' I haven't stopped to smell the roses lately. You have brought tears to my eyes and a warm fuzzy feeling to my heart original.gif

I am loving seeing my two grow up as friends (well when they are not fighting, hitting each other, taking toys off each other etc etc).

I woke up the other morning to the two of them sitting by the heater singing Baa Baa Black sheep over and over. They stopped and Cam says "Josh your a really good singer" and then they went back to singing.

It filled my heart. Ahhhhh

Thanks for the replies ladies! It is nice to take a step back and think of the great moments we are having....I am sure we all get caught up in day to day business and just being Mum's its often nice to appreciate how very lucky we all are.

It sounds like we have some superstars in the making here!! LOL singing and bopping sound like great fun and I cant wait for Hayden and Brooklen to get there!

Look forward to reading more of what your loving.....

Like you Hayley, I am loving every single moment of these babies lives. Not a day goes past that I am in awe that we have created these amazing little beings that just happened to come into this world together. I feel so lucky to have be chosen to be a mum to twins.
And like you, I love the sight of the sea of blue and pink on the clothes line. After two older boys, I still freak out at the pink things.

We just celebrated their first birthday and it was so special to wake up and say happy birthday to two babies. I thought it would feel strange but it felt great. I also loved that people gave such different pressies but with a similar theme. I'm also one of these people that still likes them dressed in the same style just different colours, and we got lots of matching outfits.
I love that you are experiencing the same feelings as we are. It really just gets better.

I'm loving seeing that dash of pink on the cloths line too(although actually it's more like a sea of pink - every piece of clothing Ella owns is pink original.gif!!)

Last night when we were all having dinner Liam and Ella were in their highchairs & I turned around to see they were holding hands - so cute!! They tend to ignore each other a lot of the time (unless Liam is trying to steal whatever toy Ella has) because Liam is doing his best to keep up with the big boys so it just melted my heart to see this little exchange between them.
When we had finished dinner Ella & Liam were still in their highchairs & Jackson & Riley started playing peek-a-boo with them - crouching under the high chair trays & popping up to say "peek-a-boo". All four of them were in hysterics !! Couldn't wipe the cheesy grin off my face Tounge1.gif . These are the moments I live for & cherish amongst the chaos that is my life at the moment! Makes it all worth while.....

With 2 1/2 year old boys I have to love

two footballs being thrown at my head

two ratbags trying to outdo who is the funniest

two willy's tring to pee in the toilet at the same time

the constant hugs and kisses all day (it's true about double the love)

How two toddlers can share(most the time) but forever looking out for each other and making sure they are ok

Two toddlers throwing a tantrum in the middle of the shopping centre and me just smiling at everyone that shook their head.

gotta also love double the mess - I found my two today in the margarine putting spoonfulls all over my floor and fridge (what a mess) but i couldn't help but laugh as Jack quickly put his spoon down put his hands on his hip and said " Oh no tom did " and tom sat there with a spoonfull of margarine on his face.

Ahh - the patients of the Multiple Mums!! Kristy that is so funny about the Margarine! LMAO, I am glad you can find the funny side! Made my morning......2 footballs at your head - my lord!

Jane with 2 sets of twins you have so much going on! Holding hands on the highchairs is priceless, that is a great shot of Ella and Liam - I can imagine that the sea of pink is quiet prominant!

Dolph - its great to hear that it all gets better and more fun! Thanks for enforcing that thought...another fan of the Pink on the line LOL......

Brooklen is so close to a giggle its not funny! It is so pathetic to listen to the voice we do to try and make her laugh!!! God knows what the neighbours think LOL, its cute to see the big grin, and Hayden he has the gummiest smile and the cutest little "boy" face, he is going leaps and bounds with the cute talk.
I also love Long weekends!!! Phil and Ebs both home for the extra day was great! I am sure the bubba's are thinking oh no - back to just Mum again!!!! LOL
Have a great day Multiple Mums!!!
