Just wondering how hard it was for you, any specific issues? I live in a semi rural area and very few donors are close by to me anyway but how possible is it to do most of your appointments in say Sydney and then do the collection in Adelaide or Brisbane or Perth IYKWIM? It seems like it would be a shame to limit who I feel a connection with to people who are very close by although I of course understand that it is logistically easier.

Hey hon

I'm in Wollongong and my IM is in QLD. We've done all of our counselling using Skype and have had all forms posted down to me. Honestly, it's been much more difficult than what I imagine it would be if the person was in Sydney or similar, but she is just the right person for me <3 I don't for a second regret doing it long-distance original.gif

I'm preparing to fly up there to start the drugs in the next week or so and will stay up there until EPU. Luckily for me, my mum is helping me out while I'm up there, as I have to take both children with me for the duration.
