I am so excited to be celebrating my first Mothers day!! We always have a "step-mothers" day and Ebony will get me a little gift, and this year it is going to be just so special! Counting down the sleeps! LOL

I wanted to see what your first Mothers Day was like for you and what you got up to?

To all our new first time twin Mums ~ Congrats to you on your upcoming first mothers day and what plans have you made?

I will be happy if Phil just cooks me a roast dinner! Yummo...

[color=Teal]There's no doubt that it's such a lovely feeling being a mother on mother's day. I always tried to make it a special day for my mother, but now that I'm a Mum it has a whole new meaning. I love being pampered too!! ;p

Happy Mother's Day to everyone! original.gif

Happy Mother Day Everyone!

There is no doubt it is a very special day when you have children of your own. Last year I got the best thing my DH managed to get the boys footprints on the inside of my card! Oh so sweet. Took me a while to figure out how he managed to do it as I was with the boys 24/7 but he had arranged for my mum to do it the night I took him out for his birthday. I did wonder that night when we got home why the boys were in different outfits from when we had gone out and my Mum just said she had bathed them. Yeah right!

Just the other day I nearly cried in the car park at day care after I picked up the boys. While I was packing everything in I found their craft they had done a finger painted cardboard photo frame with a picture of each of them.

It makes the hard days seem no where near as hard when beautiful things like that brighten your day!

Hope all the Mums and Mums to be have a special Day!

I hope everyone had a wonderful Mother's Day!! My boys made beautiful cards & lovely (although not terribly attractive.....LOL!) handmade chocolates, & they were so proud of them !! I agree with you Rhonda - it does make those hard days fade into the background when you see something like that.
